How can you read from a prepared speech when people are asking you a myriad of combative questions from which you have no idea what’s going to be thrown at you? It’s called dialogue Karen. It’s all personal opinion because it’s a highly delicate topic and if he misspeaks even a little bit he could unsettle the ICC, China, Russia, the Ukraine, not to mention provoke those who are already calling him a war criminal. He’s navigated this minefield as relatively flawless as is possible and is appealing to all sides trying to temper international anger. That’s a level of tact and consideration inconceivable to most democrats and republicans alike, and if Americans don’t feel safe with him as THE party-chosen candidate as the best to tackle foreign policy, and from what we’ve seen from that party, we should believe them-he was an ace housing secretary and can express the truth earnestly but effectively. He doesn’t miss a single detail, he operates in the margin, and as he said himself, they all know the devil is in the details. Cruz grilling him at the end is just an attack on the party itself. Proof that he didn’t have any useful additional questions, and chose to ask yes or no questions, the answers to which, in foreign policy terms, ARE NOT Y/N, T/F. He’s yelling because he’s frustrated. And angry. And no wonder. Grown men don’t throw tantrums adult children do. 💁🏻‍♀️
