I think (among anime I've seen) every character the Japanese VA has played makes me somewhat uncomfortable (except Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, where he was playing a bird). I didn't think ANYBODY could top his performance until I heard Ainosuke in English.

honestly :( poor adam is getting hated on due to his past and the lies he was taught. i copied @Touya Todoroki s comments and its more than true. here it is,,, "I need people to stop , down talking Adam , calling him disgusting and Hisoka . Hisoka is worst (he's a damn killer at that-- and gets turned on by fighting gon bc he's strong but thats not it- hisoka gets like that with EVERY strong person he fights not just gon- so hes not a pedo he just wants gon to get stronger but has a WEIRD way of showing it normally) . Adam also isn't a pedo and could never be worst than hisoka :^ that poor baby isn't a pedo 😭😭 So his 3 aunties used to abuse him like , literally beating him with a ruler and saying they do it bc they love him . which made him think being that rough with sm1 is a way to show love and as he grew older he liked skating alot but he skates rlly wild and rough bc and ppl couldn't handle it-- like , no one could . but skating makes him feel free (from his aunts) and he just wanted sm1 to skate with who could handle it . so when he met langa and skated with him he was over excited and happy that he was able to keep up with him while skating so he's attached to him : I understood every character . but I just related to Adam the most- plus ppl saying "Adam should die" but they want a season two- how- and taking the metaphors he used like "wedding bells" way outta context. adam wants to get away from responsibility like marriage, thats why he skates- so how the hell do ppl think he wants to marry langa ?? jumping to conclusions.. he isnt in love with langa ,, what i saw was Langa reminds him of tadashi when they were younger- and he loved skating with tadashi so hes projecting his love for tadashi onto langa bc of that reason and is attached. and dont they think that cherry and/or joe would've stepped in if they saw adam actions as pedophilia ? and as i'll state again Adam said hes the type who'd rather love than be loved bc his aunt brought him up with that lie that inflicting pain is showing love but that love is a good thing ,, which can fck up a persons mind if they're raised that way- its like being raised in a homophobic or racist family,, they bring u up thinking being gay is wrong or "this race is better than this one" so that sticks with u bc thats how you were taught- no one is born racist or homophobic.... they raised to think those things are wrong- but they arent- just like adam was raised to think inflicting pain is how u show love .. but its not- and he doesnt know that- ,, thats what ppl need to understand hes been mentally, physically, and emotionally abused- his mind isnt set right bc he wasnt taught right- so they should be mad at his family not him."
