When he reads, it's a British accent, but when he speaks, it's a mixed accent (American+British). This is most likely due to the curriculum he was taught, the people around him who speak English, and the fact that he is bilingual. I know it so well because I am just like him and trilingual myself!

The English that we learned at a young age is quite different from the English that we're currently using because we've become familiar with and absorbed the accents of the people with whom we're speaking English. PS. I speak Thai, English, and Chinese so it's pretty struggling and relatable...

I’m from the uk. I sound nothing t Like the stereotypical Brit. Mainly cause most of us don’t sound like it.I was raised somewhere else in the uk not England idk what those people sound like, truly I have only been to visit my grandparents who live in England -they don’t sound like a stereotypical Brit.

@@dairy4992 Sorry luv, but that’s not cockney at all! Cockney is lower-class (more than likely Londoners) and I would say he sounds more upper-class to an Aussie mix. And cockney is NOT almost extinct. But it doesn’t help that you can drive for about 30 mins and talk to someone that sound completely different to the last town you were in so I understand your mix up (coming from a Brit)😂😅

for those who don’t know han studied in malaysia and i think it was an international school? in his school they taught british english, not american english- so that explains his accent. and obviously chan and felix are australian, so i’m sure he’s picked up their accents too, that’s why it’s unique and switches.
