He’s been voted most overrated defender in both years they’ve done these player polls. A truly great defender isn’t going to be a complete liability in any defensive situation. He’s a great rim protector but that’s all he’s good at. And even Wemby is better at that. We’ve seen teams take advantage of his inability to defend the perimeter too many times in clutch situations

I feel bad blaming Gobert because he did his best, but at the same time I don’t think that was smart defense. Once on Luka, his only concern should’ve been not letting Luka get off a 3. If he blows by and makes a 2 fine, at least that’s tie game- overtime. Instead he really tried to Lock up Luka’s every move. We saw what happened. Not smart defense

Bad coaching on the last possession!!!! #1 Mike Conely should have had the ball in his hands with 11 seconds with a 2 point lead. They had been doubling and triple teaming Ant and he was trying to make the right plays all night. Then I'm not sure whether Rudy should have even been in the game at that switch out but they should have over played the inbound pass and simply denied Luka the ball period let someone else shoot it....just bad coaching in the last two game, you just get the feeling that the Wolves should be up 2-0

The wolves thought he was going to drive for the tie, and so when they switched, Gobert was trying to bait him to drive so the help could meet luka at the rim. Bad move.

Cmon man. He had 16 and 10; doing more than what is required of him offensively. Had 5 less than Ant with 12 less FGA and 4 less FTA Scored more than KAT with 6 less FGA and 3 less FTA. People just love to hate on this man. Since when are bigs able to be elite at guarding guards out on the perimeter?
