My therapist recommended me to start practicing breathwork today and I just lost it. She asked me what was going on and I had to show her this video. It was the first time, in her 23 years as a therapist , that she had laugh so hard at work. We will not be able to talk about meditation again without laughing. x)

I need that stranger to constantly tell me how to breathe to actually slow my heart rate down enough to pass out. I also have aphantasia, so the whole “imagine a beach” thing doesn’t work for me either.

I love my meditation stories. They are always packed with soothing sounds and cults! My favorite one is about summoning a demon by killing 2 people with soft music.

I don't get how people can just lay down to relax with no noise and ACTUALLY relax. I'd constantly be opening my eyes, moving around, and honestly, my heart would probably go faster and make me feel more stressed than usual. I can't just lay down, close my eyes, and relax. It's impossible!
