At 2:18 in the video you put back a 1930s Hazel Atlas bowl that is rare. The Hazel Atlas company had a contract in the 1930s to produce the Shirley Temple glassware in cobalt blue and when the contract expired they used the remainder of the blue glass to create blue pieces in one of their regular patterns but they only produced a limited quantity. At the time Hazel Atlas only did blue for the Shirley Temple because it was depression era and the cobalt for the glassware was very expensive. Due to that, that bowl is extremely rare.

Thank you for posting this. I inherited this exact bowl from my grandmother and use it often and now I know some history. I appreciate you 😊

I immediately thought the bowl reminds me of my mom’s Shirley temple mug. The color is so unique.

Agree with you, shuttered when mentioned about depression ware!
Oh my that cobalt blue Royal Lace bowl was a deal. That is one of the most popular patterns of Depression Glass. You might want to go back for it.
Absolutely love the ending! I love the fact you let them be creative and have fun! I grew up with a mom 0cd and I wasn’t allowed to make a mess! I refused to raise my kids that way and even though my house was always clean I let them be who they were and create what they wanted, things will clean up and so will they! Great job to you and your sister..Merry Christmas Joslyn 🎄❤️🎅

Perfect ending to this video. Love Juliette at the end and all the yummy cookies
Fun to see the kids all at work on the cookies😊
The Goodwills you go to are amazing. So clean & organized. I live in a wealthy CT town. Our local Goodwill looks like a war zone. I find myself attempting to organize the shelves instead of shopping. Lots of broken stuff & sticky stuff too. The sticky stuff creeps me out.
The blue bowl is called royal lace. Comes in blue, clear andpink

I have a complete set of the cobalt royal lace . My father in law left it to me after he passed. I hated this was passed up. 😢
I am such a sucker for jingle bells at Christmas.... that springy deer would have come home with me! The cookie footage is epic. Enjoy them while they are young❤❤❤

1:32 bottom shelf on the right, the cookie jar with the apple on it looks to be 1990s Neher. Clay In Motion studio is located in Oregon, the signature is always accompanied by the year made on the base…I’ve bought a few pieces for my personal collection when thrifting in Idaho, cool to see it so far east. They’re most known for their Handwarmer© Mug - 6 inch tall mug held by inserting the hand into a pocket on the side of the mug. I’m hopeful I’ll find one of these one day in the wild.
I love that your family does fun stuff with the kiddos.
The little cups were Tupperware from late 70’s I think. And yes very useful for taking salad dressing
Those are tiny little Tupperware. Used to put them in my with raisins or nuts back in the 60s and 70s 70s. They are not worn they are made in a light pastel
On the clock with the birds your hand was over hinges so you can open the back to change the batteries.
Lovely finds today!
Those little comtainers were antique Tupperware. My mom used to put seasonings in them to take camping.

The slice of varnished wood clock were popular in the late 70's early 80's
Hi Jocelyn❤️ Happy Christmas Cookies and Goodwill 🎄🥰
Jocelyn, I always love seeing you with the kids and then creating their own stuff. That’s really cool I did that with my kids when they were little.
❤❤❤ so cute the children are:-) thank you for sharing the video hope you have a wonderful holiday Merry Christmas 🎄❤❤
hundred mile sale elk county pa has a amazing pick its absolutely a place to set up shop they get picked clean.
8:49 To the immediate left of the green bowls is a Troyan peacock slipware covered dish made in Bulgaria. They are not very valuable, but they are pretty cool.
This baggie thing must be regional. I’ve never seen it where I live.
You’re my favorite KZreadr ❤
I use my Tupperware little containers for what you said...small amounts of dressing or peanut butter etc great for lunches or to store just a little bit!
Great cookie decorators!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family! Sandy C.
Fun to see the cookies!
Thanks 😊
So much fun watching kids decorate cookies. 😊
Yummy looking cookies!
The small Tupperware containers re called midgets. They carry your sauce, dressing, small containers for lunches. I have used for crafting small items also. Perfect for kids lunches. The older ones are better than the new ones.
The back of the bird clock looked hinged, so it must open! Very cute!
I think those glass candle holders are interesting! I feel like I often find similar items in pairs as well! it has been interesting lately because I have been finding pairs in different stores!
Loved the deer 🦌made from springs. I have never seen one. Wish I could find one!!
Ooo I want the blue sugar cookie!
How sweet is the table with family decorating cookies
Cookies look great!! Nice they have their cousins nearby.
Wishing you and the family a wonderful Merry Christmas and A joyful New Year a head.❄⛄💜🌲🎅🦊🦉
Loved seeing the children decorating Christmas cookies!! My children are all over 30, and I so miss those cookie decorating days.
The kids look like they are really enjoying decorating cookies. I think it's fantastic that they are able to be so close to cousins. The reindeer with the bells and spring in the middle would drive you and Andrew nuts when the kids got a hold of it. Hahaha
👋 Jocelyn! Merry Christmas to you and your entire family! Christmas 🎄 🤶 🌲 🧑🎄 🎄 ❄️ ☃️ 🎅
The kids looked like they had a fun time making the Christmas cookies♥️♥️♥️
As a fish keeper, I absolutely love the fish ornament! I also love the ending & the cookie decorating. I have now built 7 different gingerbread houses with my grandson. we start building them the week after Halloween & build one a week until Christmas. He also loves to decorate cookies. What wonderful Christmas memories.
Letters for Santa box for your shop😊 I love that Santa box.
I love those little stained glass Christmas pieces. I have the Santa 😁
My cake topper from 79 is very similar to the one you found.
Rushed….but worth seeing the time spent with family❤️
@ 7:49 the green hand blown pitcher, has Greek writing on the bottom. Πανόραμα - Panorama..which is a municipality in Greece
Wow. I never heard of horse hair pottery. That is so cool. I read that the thinner lines are from the mane and the thicker lines are from the tail. Learn something new every day!
I groaned when you put back the horsehair pottery. I am dying to find one in the wild! I think the cobalt bowl is Lincoln's Drape if I remember correctly. Keep the reward jar for potty training Laurel. I used a reward bowl filled with toys and treats and my son got to pick every time he used the potty. After a while I got worried he was going to be in college and I was still going to have to be giving him rewards for peeing! Aw I loved the Letters to Santa and the jiggly reindeer!
I just love Julia ❤😊
The little tupperware cups were my M-N-M serving measure, for special TV events, movies, around 1970.
charging $24 for a stein with a missing lid is insane. i prefer my local thrift shops now over Goodwill

Even though Depression glass doesn't "Excite" you, I would definitely recommend anyone to get one of the Florence guides to Depression glass - they show gobs of beautiful full color photos of the basic, most well-known patterns - they give a good overview of Depression pattern names and the glass companies that manufactured them. Even the outdated editions, I don't take the prices too seriously but they can still give a fair idea on which are the more common patterns (and rarest items / colors within a particular pattern) and this can be great information for a reseller. You might be passing by rarities and not know it. Those books are pretty inexpensive online and worth it just for identification purposes.
I want the purple flamingo.

I've felt like Goodwill checks to see what stuff might be worth and they are trying to flip for a profit. I have left many things because they price them outrageously.

Everything thing they sell is making a profit because they get the stuff for free. Now they are just getting greedy

I know they make a profit. I just mean they were wanting a bigger profit by selling us stuff at higher prices.
that glass bottle that was passed on to you, My late husband had one that was his mom. and antique store offered me good money for it and that was like late 90s/early 2000s
My mom used to give us kids M&Ms in those little Tupperware cups.
I saw the hinges also.
Pretty bowl
Hinges! LOL Bet after especially Christmas, the Chia Pets and Pots are all over Goodwill. Nothing like cookie making messes!
Its TIME🎉🎉🎉🎉
The snooty figurine broad reminded me of Madonna in her old Vogue video!😂 Christmas cookies! So sweet!
I remember those days of decorating cookies so much fun and great memories 😊
Found my first Murano the other day. $1 at the Restore. Tiny gold bowl that fits in the palm of my hand. Still had its sticker.
I can’t imagine donating chipped /broken items-just throw them away people! But then maybe they were donated in good condition but broken in processing 🤷♀️
My mum used to put dried fruit in those little tupperwares for us.
Giggles when you showed the mini wine cooler. Ours has very little wine. Mainly Tito’s, holiday ginger ale, patron and juices. I never pick a good wine, any recommendations?
Love the pewter candle sticks, optic bottle😍., glass creamer. lol!! What a face! Your right she looked very snooty.
The bird clock has a piano hinge so the back is a door. Battery goes in there. 😊
