The reason that ‘I hope you dance’ is an extremely important song to me is because when my grandpa died it was a song that he wanted his grand kids to know and it has made me cry many times each time I listen to it. Even though I was pretty young when he died I still had some amazing memories with him

It was my momma's song to me. ❤She bought me the I hope you Dance book that had the single cd of the song in the back of the book. My mom wrote THE ANGELS DANCED THE DAY YOU WERE BORN. I LOVE YOU DEVON. LOVE, MOMMA ❤ She passed in 02. Lee ann Womack was and always will be my favorite artist and my momma new that. One day I hope to meet her....top of my bucket list.

I had to make a promise to my only sister before she passed on this song all because she and myself loved dancing and it’s been a few years now , a little on this I know she would be disappointed in me because I haven’t danced sense she passed
