Remember to check out the artists' channels and sns accounts to keep up with their activities and new releases. Also seek out their Spotify profiles, especially if there's a particular artist you liked in the video, as I usually limit myself to including 2-3 songs by an artist and there might be more of their songs that I really like but ultimately skip for the video. So yea check out their pages, go to their channels, comment on their videos, all that good stuff. Links below.

I just play on spotify a lot and some great artists are recommended to me in the daily mixes and on youtube sometimes. I think the trick is to dedicate a single account on just listening to this type of music so that the algorithm figures out what you like. Also the channel's viewers are more than happy to recommend their favorites. I just gather enough songs out of those that I really like to make up a playlist!

Konnichiwa, As a non Japanese, I want to understand the lyrics and also try to sing along but I don't know Japanese. Do you know a way that non Japanese speaking can find the lyrics of these songs, and the "easy" way to sing along when we don't know Kanji, can't read much Japanese if you know what I mean hihi... Thanks for doing this for us ! Arigatogozaimasu !

@@alexquyenvo5196 There are some people who make "romaji" lyrics for a lot of songs, they are lyrics that are taken from japanese and turn them into english characters so you can say them easily. They are mostly used for learning but I use them too for singing ^ ^
I just found out Suzuki Tunekichi (鈴木常吉) passed away due to esophageal cancer last July. He was 65.

All of your comments make me notice how precious living in Japan. I love my town.
That last song brings back memories of a diner opening up at midnight in Shinjuku frequented by locals each with a story to tell.
6:44 When people finish their day and hurry home, my day starts. My diner is open from midnight to seven in the morning. They call it "Midnight Diner." That's all I have on the menu. But I make whatever customers request as long as I have ingredients for it. That's my policy. Do I even have customers? More than you would expect.

This video now has ads, too. Confirming my speculation about them being added once a video hits 10k views. I am not responsible for these and this channel is not monetized. Skip to the end of the video 53:05 and replay and the ads should be gone. Or click on the spotify link if you have premium there
I love these songs more than words could express, they're so peaceful and nice to listen to on a summer afternoon after staying inside far away from the and just relaxing eating some nice and cool watermelon
Last day,our sensei took us for a trip up the mountains. It had rained before we took off from our destination, therefore mist had lined up and there were waterfalls spurting from the rocks. We were chilling after intense trekking to your playlist. My mind wandered to my small little world and when I turned my head,I was sure the rest of my company were too.
Honestly, I don't speak Japanese and can't understand what these songs are all about... but my soul is at peace and there's tears rolling down my cheek... lovely lovely playlist.
i love how the music in this playlist melts into the background, then periodically some verses and instruments resurface into my consciousness....
I listen to your playlists while studying, drawing, when playing with my pets and looking outside, its basically my company for my everyday life
When the last song started playing and it's the theme song for Midnight Diner! Absolutely love your playlists.

Yuuransen - Submarine is killing me. omg... i can't explain what i'm feeling right now....
when the second song started it sounded like someone singing in my right ear, it rally startled me and I literally screamed. My dad was very confused.
a lot of the songs remind me of a show called "midnight diner", which gives off the same vibe

The last track is literally the midnight diner theme!
I can't understand Japanese. That's kind of the fun thing about google translating these lyrics. It's like opening up a letter in a bottle. All these thoughts and feelings that are hidden by a language barrier. Like meeting an alien and feeling scared until you understand that the alien actually wants to be friends. That feeling when you realize you have so so much in common.
The last song bring me memories of watching Midnight Diner
3:45 I swear I looked on my right while listening this on my headphones. Hell I really thought someone was beside me, talking.
This is literally one of the best playlists I’ve ever heard. I was feeling restless for a while and this gave me some peace of mind and helped me relax. Everything blends so well. Thank you for the efforts and the great taste :)
