I have always liked Skinshape but was never a hardcore fan. I stumbled upon this while looking for a work playlist; this is a treasure. It is so difficult to find great work music and lo-fi doesn't do it for me anymore. This is precisely the instrumentation and the rhythm I needed to hear my thoughts and work efficiently. Plus, it has that anxiety calming effect 🦄

Man what a sound he has. Immediately identifiable. And amazing playlist as always.

I found this album yesterday and got to know this band. They play amazingly good music. I go through them on a time trip and they evoke a lot of feelings. I'm glad that the algorithm brought it to my attention :)

This is pure gold. I fell in love at first listen.

I lost a close friend a few years ago and the first track on this playlist was the cure I needed to push forward. The lyrics hit my heart in perfect timing, God Bless Skinshape.

i discovered Skinshape about a year ago or so when i started listening to Khraungbin radio on Pandora. I typically cant listen to music with words while i work but Skinshape's sound is so calming that I've found my focus is better when listening to it. Grateful listener

Didn't know Skinshape and youtube just started playing this and i recognized Summer, such a chill playlist! I'm hooked. It surprises me at some points, I just didn't expect some parts to be so deep or chill or psychedelic, it just have a so much to give

A passage with that sort of trumpet (or flugelhorn) that I heard in two of the tracks gives me an impression of intelligence. No idiot will dream of an arrangement or melody like that, ever. Thank you, DD for your brilliant choices here, and the order you put them in.

I remember the first time I heard I Didnt Know. I just got my heart shattered by someone I thought was my soul mate. I was devastated, suicidal and purely exhausted at the human experience. The music really helped talk me down from the ledge. Music heals.

Crazy how music gets tied to some of the most beautiful memories of your life. Only after some time has passed and you listen to the music again, do you realize how wonderful it was. To be so young, filled with hope and wonder. All while sitting next to the love of your life. Played this today while cleaning the house and we both looked at each other with this look of reminiscence, completely at ease that it was with each other we experienced what we did. The growth I’ve documented with this album will go down as part of the soundtrack to our lives. Love to come back here a every now and then… blessed ♥️

Unfortunately that’s a double edged sword friend ⚔️ So, so many life memories to Skinshape. Some sweet, some not so much. I’ll be sad once we breakup, cause I know I’ll reminisce like you’re doing. I actually had to basically throw out my entire collection of ‘new’ music in my 20s cause they were ALL tied to life’s memories and exes. Promised myself I wouldn’t share music like that with a partner anymore. Unfortunately Skinshape is the only one that’s caused me to break my promise 😅
