"Just" A Truck Driver | Texomatic.com

Фильм және анимация

You put in countless hours and miles away from home missing those who matter the most. Many of those hours sitting and waiting… unpaid.
You get yelled at by a shipping clerk because you didn’t follow their convoluted check in procedure to a “T”.
Through tired eyes you hope to find that last parking spot at the end of your day.
Are you just a truck driver? No. You are the life blood of this nation.
You work hard to put food on your table and on the tables of people you will never meet.
The furniture, the clothing, the materials that build our homes and businesses, the essentials for maintaining our country’s infrastructure and countless other things that at one point were either on a flatbed, lowboy, dry van, reefer or in a tanker. You are not just a truck driver.
You are professional, dedicated, hard working, committed, vital, proud, independent, essential, courageous, trustworthy, respectful and tough. You’ve paid your dues and earned the right to be called a truck driver. Not “just” a truck driver.
Not everyone has the fortitude it takes to do this job. The next time someone calls you “just a truck driver”, be sure to educate them on the sacrifices you and your family make for his family’s comfort and lifestyle.
Be proud of who you are and what you do. Don’t ever be “just” a truck driver…

I’m a relocation engineer. I do flatbed steel. I’m very proud of my wife and daughter. They are the reason I do what I do. And they are the reason I can do it. My daughter started going with me when she was 8 years old. She helped me strap and tarp. Now at 15 she can tarp and untarp better then most guys out there. Her and I can fold and roll a lumber tarp in under a minute. My wife is my best friend and partner. She does everything when I’m on the road. For my 50th birthday she bought me a Harley. She went to the dealership every time they got a new bike in until she found the perfect one for me. Best wife ever!!! To all my fellow drivers. Stay safe and see ya on the road.😁👍

Retired coal hauler from WV. Spent 25 yrs behind the wheel. Two lane country roads off of strip mines and deep mines. Went from 10 wheels to 22. Hauled gas and diesel for 9. Largest load I ever hauled on the highway was 81.20 ton. Grossed out over 215, 000 lbs. Been there done it all. Hats off to everyone behind the wheel. I salute you Tex

Pneumatic Bulk Driver here. I haul plastic pellets, PVC Powder, and Poultry feed booster, I am not just a truck driver. Look in your home or work place and count how many plastic products you can see. I may have played a part in the forming of that product.

I started in 1994 and drove till 2019 I ran the magic carpet ride out of dalton ga to southwest and northwest pulling a refer unit and hauling back produce to forest park ga I took pride in being able to stay up for days at a time living on black coffee and a carton and a half of Marlboros a week never been guilty of doing the road dope to run hard just had two kids looking over the dinner table hollering I'm hungry . Now I'm sitting here with only 30% of my heart working and now there saying I've got an aneurism that's on the verge of exploding and finishing me up . So remember truck drivers sleeping is very important if you plan on getting old and seeing your grandchildren grow up. Because trying to explain why you're not gonna be around to see them grow up isn't a very fun thing to explain to a 5 yearold who doesn't understand how I thought a load of produce was more important than taking care of myself to be around to see them grow up. I was just a truck driver who was able to do a 6 day turn and burn from Georgia to California and back to Georgia.

Trucking is the world's transmission them gears grind off or seize the world grinds with it why because like this video stated 1 truck stops it could mean vital goods like food, medical equipment and supplies materials like steel gravel sand and wood all essential to progress in the world just that 1 truck especially if its got medical supplies can put someones life on the balance we got more then the job on are shoulders we got the globe on are backs

Let's be honest here. This video describes approximately one percent of the driving population in North America. Don't believe me? Check out a few trucks the next time you're on the road. Fenders cracked, trailer skirts torn to shit, bumper curled up under the front of the truck, stickers all haphazardly strewn around on the side of the truck, hasn't been washed in six months, Fat Bastard behind the wheel, too lazy to find a place to park in an almost desolate truck stop so they park at the pump to go inside and eat when there are trucks lined up to get fuel. This video is selling this ideal hard. Most truckers I've had the misfortune of knowing are not at all what this video is describing. Most of them I've known are the kind you'd cross the street so as to not bump into them and catch whatever rare disease grows in an ass crack that hasn't been washed in six weeks.

Yes and the roads will be even more deadly, thanks to computers with glitches and people that have became so lazy they don't want to do anything. It's all part of the GLOBALIST plan to get rid of workers and create a class that can only be sustained by the govt handout and control. Ultimate control of people through their continued quest to be lazy lazy fools.
