I'm caught on this fact: These 18 jurors have strength in friendship in each other. Colby Ryan has been accepted and embraced by Tanmy's family. Kay and Larry now have this friendship and love for Jon, Lauren, and their son. Chad now gets to sit in a cold cell, alone, with nothing but the walls. No goddess, no money, no Prophethood. Was it worth it, Chad?

He chose Nov '19 to Feb '20 - 3 months of hedonistic behaviour ( that's the true amount of time he had complete access to LV) over an insurmountable number of people's lives - victims, families, LE, Prosecutors, Court staff, Jurors and their families, neighbours and once friends, medical professionals.... and future generations of family members.... 3 months, countless lives affected. A just sentence.

Just thankful for normal ppl who can hear information and determine the truth.

I'm relieved to hear the jurors picked up on the same things that most of the public did. This was a hard trial. They made the right decision and did it the right way.

Yes, and they did it on the first take. They didn't have the advantage we did to rewatch the testimony and hear multiple peoples take on what was going on. The jurors did a great job.

Many people don’t understand just how much trauma jurors suffer in cases like these. They are, in a very real sense, additional victims. 💔

Agreed, if i could offer one teensy suggestion for anyone who finds themselves placed in a similar position, keep talking, keep unpacking, keep assessing the 'sticking points' of emotions, in Mr Blake's case my one thing i would suggest is bring your wife with you to the dinner with the other jurors, that they bring their significant people. It helps them understand you better in these circumstances, it helps them connect with the other family members, all of you can support each other in unpacking, learning and feeling.... together.

Completely agree! I loved the reference by Dr. John about being a vet. More than a trauma bond, more like a refiners fire melded their hearts together. So grateful for his interviews - all of their interviews for that matter and their willingness to share their individual and collective experiences with us. All seem to be amazing human beings!!!

I agree with Juror #14 from day 1! I found Prior's superiority very off-putting. By the end of the trial, I felt Prior was intensely disrespectful and I hated to even hear his voice. Mr. Prior is condescending and rude.

One thing that stood out to me: When Tammy called police about the gun incident, the officer who testified (I believe that's who it was) said that Chad hung back and stood inside the door of another room in the house, not even standing near Tammy, who had just been SHOT AT.

Yeah my husband would have been all over that. He is so overprotective and that how I feel safe. I have sadness for Tammy because I have had that life in the past. No leader, no protector, no provider. Nothing but a waist of oxygen.

It's bad enough that he arranged his little 'career' so that she would be the main breadwinner; here, he might have as well been a toddler at the gate, just looking on. Pathetic.

It's very comforting to know ppl like Blake were choosen. He is level-headed, smart, and just overall comes across as a good guy. He really pinned everything I felt and thought.

Absolutely! This man is SO intelligent and well-spoken, that I can picture him as the CEO of a large company, and I thought, for sure, that he was probably the jury foreman (but now I know he wasn’t).

I hope Blake also realizes that he is also giving all of us viewers the answers to many questions we had as well. Thank you for your service Blake!!

Blake cares so much for the children of Chads. I think it's a beautiful thing and I hope the Daybell kids see it someday.

It's amazing how well these jurors understood this case. Those of us who have been following it for years are amazed at the juror's grasp of all of this.

So nice to put a face and personality to this juror. He is so genuine and real. Justice was in good hands!

I’ve listened to several juror interviews now and it’s refreshing to hear that some of the observations we as the audience were making were the same conclusions the jurors came to. So many times I’d see comments such as “I hope the jurors caught that, or I wonder if the jurors feel the same as we do about that.” It’s nice knowing how smart and methodical these jurors were about taking everything into consideration and coming to the right decision.

This is the first time this case has made me cry since December 2019. It’s been so cerebral and the focus has been on understanding for me. What happened, how was it done, what is going on with the people involved, how were they able to get this far, etc. This juror, as an untouched member of the community, underscored the entire emotional current. The jury a blind touch point for all the feeling in this case- victims, family, LE, judicial community, media, even us as scattered audience members. You know, this whole case back from Lori to Chad has actually proven that we should all have more faith in humanity. Look around, Larry And Kay basically adopted Colby into their family, the Rogers families and Tylee and JJ's families are all connected and have become family, many many good and caring people surrounded (over powered) this cult. The reality is, there really are more good and caring people than evil and deranged.

We were praying and hoping for an outstanding jury and we had one! Extremely grateful for their sacrifice and service so justice could be delivered ❤️⚖️❤️ Thank you ❤️⚖️❤️

From everything I've heard, these jurors were a really wonderful group of humans who carefully and thoughtfully made a very hard decision to bring some justice to this case. Faith in humanity restored!

Please tell Blake my father in law was in WW2. His fellow soldiers or group got together once a year to share what they went through. The reunions were held each year at one of their homes. I remember when my father in law had it at his home. Of course they didn’t stay at his home but he had a huge bbq at his home. It helped them all tremendously. Their last reunion was 2008. My father in law was one of the last two. We met them all and just enjoyed it so much. Please share this with Blake.

My neighbours used to host their military unit every year. Didn't matter what year you served, all were welcome. My family always went as neighbours, helped set up, and eventually bagpiped for the crew. Such a strong unit. My fam hosted the gentlemans funeral last year on our farm, and my Dad received a plaque and was named an honorary member.❤

Blake's thoughts on Emma and Garth makes me feel sad for them. They were brainwashed or fearful of Chad. But trashing your mother is beyond my understanding. I expect Chad's kids to lay low. They will continue to be criticized.

They are brainwashed and need therapy, but it's their journey to take in finding that healing . all we can do is hope at some point that veil of indoctrination they've gone through their whole lives will be questioned and lifted and they can find the healing & support they will they need through it because it will be a very traumatic process imo .

Chad doesn’t love those children he would have never made them lie under oath the way they did. They have lost all credibility as decent human beings in the public eye and maybe in the LDS community? . But I do hope they receive help.

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if one or more of his kids end up leaving the LDS faith. After all this is said and done, maybe after counseling and deep reflection how could one stay in a belief system that has taken so much from them and destroyed so many lives? Not saying mainstream LDS necessarily, but there is evil in many extreme beliefs.

Agree. This juror somehow covers every aspect of what we've all been feeling. His maturity and integrity is a way to restore faith in humanity for so many of us.

The one thing that sticks out to me is the love of the jurors. Love wins. Out out the horror came a set of bonds between former strangers. Hate will always lose in the end.

The idea Chad was next was ridiculous. They were not married. No life insurance for her to get. If they killed him during the paint ball Tammy would have gotten the money

Glad to know I’m not alone. My heart just aches for this panel of jurists. I was happy to hear that they have a group chat and are planning to meet for dinner soon. Just completed watching Mr. Blake aka Juror#14 in this interview and also watched his interview yesterday with @eastidahonews. Pretty sure I cried equally thru both of his interviews. What an absolutely stellar human being you are Mr. Blake!!! We are so incredibly grateful for your insight, but more so the level of empathy you so beautifully possess. I didn't have any doubt the jury got the verdict correct - however hearing his insights blew me away with all that they had to shoulder, how perfectly they all were able to filter through the evidence and for the level of sincerity each of them possessed. The trial was only 3 weeks long, but it was still very life changing for me. I have so much respect and admiration for all of you who committed your life and time to this case for 2 months! I have really enjoyed each of your interviews as you've shared your thoughts and experiences with us, and I just want to say thank you for serving and for giving it your all! We are so lucky, as American citizens, to be able to take part in our system of justice. However, that doesn't mean it's easy! The 18 of you who were chosen were exactly the 18 who were meant for the job, and you've given so much peace to the families and so many of us as well! Thank you!

This is such a cathartic interview for the entire audience that has been following this case. I had a prem baby, hard time, 3 weeks in hospital for me. Everyone kept saying I bet you can't wait to get home but when they told me " you can go home today" I cried, I felt like I was being cast adrift, there was safety in those " strangers" we had ( on my part) a connection. The outside World felt strange. So on a part of that needing the other jurors I get it. They shared the experience with him, can understand. Same with me, people who hadn't faced their mortality thought I should have been so happy but the negative emotions have to be faced down first. I think these jurors are bloody amazing.

I’m really glad the jurors are so open to talking. This is an absolutely mind boggling case, so much tragedy. Having a chance to hear from the family, the jurors and the prosecution does answer questions that weren’t answered during the trial. Plus, it helps to process the pure evil we saw in Chad, Lori and Alex. May the memories of Charles, Tammy, Tylee and JJ never be forgotten.
