Technically, the JP Brachiosaurus was based more on Giraffatitan, a close relative of Brachiosaurus that was found in Africa. At the time of the first Jurassic Park movie, paleontologists reconstructed Brachiosaurus based on its cousin from Africa.

Very cool video:) much more accurate than most videos with this theme! Some of those r a little small, tho... -That real life dilophosaurus was still a bit on the small side. They(are KNOWN to)get 23ft -real life baryonyx are almost 35ft -real life ceratosaurus was basically the size of that JP one -carnotaurus was basically the same size as that JP one -real life stegosaurus was inbetween the 2 u showed, but was actually closer to the size of the JP one -real life Mosasaurus is bigger than the real life one u showed.

@@robinator789 we do know, the way troodon was descibed as a genus isnt a valid way to do it. you cant name a genus off of teeth alone, so all bones later called troodon was put back into its own genus, like stenonychosaurus or latenivenatrix

As noted in the video, the VelociRaptors seen in the films are twice as big as they should be... But don't be too disappointed. There are other Raptors... The UtahRaptor looks silmilar to the VelociRaptor, and it stands about 6 feet tall, just like the ones in the movies... So when making the first film, they producers probably got confused as to which Raptor they wanted... However, as well all know, NONE of the Jurassic Park Dinosaurs are authentic, since Hammond used Frog DNA to create them. Thus, No Feathers... So, maybe that was a VelociRaptor. Just a giant version due to the Frog DNA.

Real rex was portrayed a bit to small I think, say Sue for example, was 40 foot long while rexy was just over 43. The real rex looks about 37-8 ish feet but still good job Etc- Mass and weight are practically the same, mass being more commonly used in physics. Real rex was much heavier than the poor shrink wrapped rexy

Umm actually the real velociraptors head is a little bigger and had a thicker snout compared to the animation and the pachypholosaurus is not proven to have quils/spikes sorry for nerding out 😅....
