It’s really fascinating seeing how much our perception and understanding of prehistoric animals has changed over the last 200 years. Not just the designs, art styles as well have evolved to be more realistic with many creative and diverse ideas on how prehistoric life was like. I personally like both nostalgic paleo art of the Victorian era, 1980s-to-2000s era to the current era of paleo art that’s based on the latest scientific discoveries.

@@nanotyrannusisnotvalid4820 Therizinosaurus starts off on the ground and later it's figured out that they actually stood in a more upright position (Also, it looks like the first construction has the hind/front feet flipped, lmao). @@andykerkhofs1945 at first Therezinosaurus was believed to be something of a giant snapping turtle because only the claws were found. Therezinosaurus is still very fragmentary. Spinosaurus is a weird one. We don't even know if some of the bones actually belong to aegyptiacus or maybe another subspecies, or another species of the genus altogether. We aren't even sure if it could walk or swim. Some say it couldn't walk because of body and others say it couldn't swim because it could easily flip over and drown.
I love outdated designs sometimes, they just have that charm
Giving each decade its own font is a nice touch. Interesting how some changes are mainly due to incompleteness of fossils (Spinosaurus, Deinocheirus) while others are mainly because of different concepts of how they behaved (Edmontosaurus) or both (Ichthyosaurus).
Wonderful. They resemble real animals now. However I grew up in the 90's and some of those old depictions remind of cool toys.
