What a haul! Here in Texas you can't even find anything for a dollar anymore at a thriftstore, let alone for ten cents! My favorite is The lace with the black roses. Great for a Gothic journal. And then the telephone book. I can't find any telephone books here, none. They all disappeared before anyone realized they might be interesting at some point.

The old black item at 12:31 is an organizer for papers of some sort. I'm used to ones that have A-Z instead of numbers, but I could see that some companies would use forms that are numbered. I would love to see what you have used it for!

Wow I don’t know why but I live in your country and I never never never find such great laces and fabrics. Books I can find and I also have the whole serie off the readers digest one, a heritage from the aunt off my husband. I also have the one you showed the last…and yes I have two! One is falling apart so I can fussy cut yeee. Yesterday we went to the thriftstore and I found just one little book, some little safety pins and a wooden stand to hold a cook book or my I pad. I like your haul videos, Margreth. I like knowing there are other people who get excited about the same things I do. When I lived in another city, I was able to shop at a thrift store in a senior citizen community. When I would bring my treasures to the check out counter the sweet little old ladies who volunteered there would give me a funny look and ask what I was going to do with the items. I’ve given up trying to explain junk journals! I’m also enjoying the 100 day challenge videos and there have been a couple of days when I’ve gone straight from the video to Uncle Ali’s to put in an order.

Margreth, you made a great haul!!! I love all your finds!! My husband and I go almost every weekend, or so it seems! I find so many things for my journals and other crafts that I do. Between the thrift stores, antique shops and where I live, we have a thrift craft store!!! Talk about an awesome store!! People donate just like a regular thrift store, only it's everything to do with crafts...all kinds of crafts!! The journal covers you bought make great journals!! I buy them all the time!! So, snatch them up when you see them, you got them for a great price! Also, you can just punch holes in your own papers & leave the 3 ring binders in the covers...don't remove them, they're great! Then, when the journal is full, just replace with new pages!! I always find ledger paper and buy it every time, envelopes too!! Thank you for sharing!! Hugs, Toni @Mountaindaisyjournals

Hi Toni, so happy you liked my haul video, I was just thinking about the planners. I will probably alter the covers to make them a little bit more my style. So jealous you find ledger paper all the time, it is pretty rare here in the netherlands, and if i do find it.... very expensive ;-).

@@SevenplazaCreative I always alter the covers, that's part of making it yours!! Ledger paper here at the thrift stores is always very inexpensive and most times it's not even been used!! I have bought several pads of vintage ledger paper that were never even opened, hard to believe!!! If they have been used, barely any pages are missing. I have to say I've been very lucky!! Same with rolodex...I can find them quite often!! Friends are in shock when I tell them that, they look forever and can't find them.

@@lesliespeers2739 don't you just love stores like that?!!? Ours is rather large and things are rather inexpensive...I love it!! They have just about everything you can think of!! I came across it on Facebook...I never knew it existed!! It's quite a drive from where we live, but a great excuse to get out for a while 😁
