Hehe leigh if you think that took patience, wait until you see one of the projects coming up towards the end of the tub. we will be going miniature scrap paper mode lol. The paper at the bottom of the tray is like confetti! 😂😂. Glad you popped over to Cheryl's channel; she has such a calming vibe and I love supporting our little Aussie channels 🙂🩵🦋

Thanks so much Hunny! I have soooo many clothing tags from my little grandkiddies growing out of everything lol. I'm happy to be able to use a few up! I really love that the tags come in all different shapes and sizes. That little pentagon one is so cute. I am terrible at sewing the circles because I sew like a ceazy lazy, but I still think they look cute even with my wonky sewing lol. 😄🩵💚

Thanks Betty! I have a tub of clothing labels from my DIL and grandkiddies. They are a bit of a pain to use, but I do love how they come in all different shapes and sizes. I might paint a bunch next time so I don't have to glue and trim them all lol 😄🩵🩷

Thank you Rhondita! The clothing labels can be a bit fiddly sometimes, but I do like how they come in all different shapes and sizes. I always try to re-use them but it's so hard to keep up with the little grandkiddies growing so fast they need new clothes each season because nothing from the previous year fits lol. 😄💚

If you're not careful, one of these days you might get trapped under a crapolanch. 😂

Yes, best to start with a small box because it's sooo hard to use tiny scraps up lol. I have a few scrap boxes but I just started with the smallest tray lol. Unfortunately, my smallest tray also has the smallest scraps lol. II may need to come up with 250 projects to use them up lol 😂💚

What a great kick off to this challenge. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. I have scraps and will pull some tags out and get going doing this myself.

Lol Pamela its impossible to empty it! The more I use out of the tray, the more full the tray seems to get lol. The scraps were compacted before, but now I've been rummaging through them, they are all puffed up lol 😂😂🩵💚

I can't say I blame you; it's just too easy to build up piles of sCraps lol. I used to make alot of handmade paper so all these little bits got used for that, but I haven't made any in quite a few years now so the little scraps started piling up! I kept them in check for a while by gluing them into a phone book at the end of each day kzread.info/dash/bejne/eol1pNCGdqy6d84.html there 's the video if you're interested lol. That kept them under control for a while until the phone book got buried under piles of fabric lol. 😂😂💚

Yes, join me Raelie! I know you have a pile of these too lol. We only need to do around 250 videos to use them all up! hahahaha. The matte medium is ok. I prefer the Monte Marte to be honest because it's thicker and the finish is nicer, but the Kmart brand is pretty good given the price and the size of the bottle! 😄🩵

Thank you so much Chris! I will most probably use these tags in journals, and some of the the smaller ones will probably be used on parcels when I wrap my little Etsy orders. I have soooo many clothing tags still to use up because the little grandkiddies keep growing out of their clothes so fast! I think I now have a lifetime supply of clothing tags lol. 😄💜💙

You probably have lots and lots of ideas but I thought I would share one that I make. My tiny pieces are like the size of my thumbnail all different colors and I glue them on a little square that's about the same size as the Tim Holt ink boxes . I round the corners and then add a small focal point and they are so cute. You could also pick out all the narrow strip pieces and glue them on a journal card for background and then of course add your Embellishments. Blessings and hugs from New Mexico

If a person is just starting and does not have scraps or crap box what do you suggest. I have brown bags and food container boxes saved. But not the paper bits. Silly, but thats why I haven’t started.

Welcome to junk journals Taleea! You are going to have so much fun collecting junk and soon you won't be able to look at anything without wondering how you can chop it up to put in a journal lol. I'm a recycle crafter so I don't purchase any new materials other than paint, ink and glue. Now and then I might buy something from a second hand shop or recycle centre, but mostly I just collect junk that I come across in my everyday life. Encyclopaedias are good, because you can use all the pictures to make ephemera, books, newspapers, old clothing as fabric and you can also use the buttons etc, food packaging, school notes that the kids or grandkids bring home, junk mail, flyers, magazines, greeting cards, photos, envelopes. I basically keep any paper that comes through my house lol. The more you start creating, the more you will start seeing the potential in everything and in no time you'll have lots of crafting 'supplies' lol. You could also ask friends and family to save you stuff for crafting. You would be amazed at the random stuff people collect for you! It all depends on your style aswell. I don't use pretty scrapbook papers or mass produced embellishments or digitals. For me, the joy comes from collecting junk and trying to make something out of it. I love the challenge of trying to use up junk I've collected. Have fun! There are no rules and please ask me any questions you want; happy to help if I can! 🙂🩷🩵

Yes but I was just being lazy lol. If I had of planned ahead for once, I could have just glued those shiney pieces down with the matte medium at the same time I was gluing all the little scraps down, but of course, I never plan anything; I just decide as I go lol 😄🩵🩷

So I am going to keep making stuff from it until it's gone gone gone. I have a playlist just for the videos where I have been using the scraps from this tray. It's taken a few weeks but I finally made a dent in it last week! lol. I swear these little scraps breed overnight! I just subbed to your channel too!
