Thanks a lot for this catalogue of great ideas and abundance of beautiful examples. 31:19 Here you are mentioning that you do not know why you haven’t used those particular makes, you just found them... I’d really enjoy a video on this topic - how to keep the organization current so that the makes do get used. My way of controlling that is creating containers for each category and trying to use only them for storing and also not to overproduce. But I am sure there are many tips that I myself haven’t come up with yet.

I must say that I haven’t found the perfect storage solution for my ephemera, yet. Hopefully soon, and when I do, I will definitely share in the video. 😊❤️

I make Frankenpapper from my leftover white/beige paper. I then use that completed paper on the backs of tags. I also now make sure that I include a handmade envelope in each journal chock full of leftovers from making the journal. The receiver may then use the papers to further decorate the journal, make a little notebook, etc. I use the larger leftover paper as tags and cards in pockets, unadorned so that the receiver can use the envelope stash to decorate them if they wish.

All of your ideas are great but my personal favorite is putting the tags/journalling cards/ collages is to put the finished product through an embossing folder!! I just wouldn’t have thought of doing it that way!! ( Not that I would think of even half of the things that you come up with!!💕

I think I have just experienced the crafters version of a sugar rush !😂 I will have to “ take you along “ into my craft room and watch , pause , craft ,repeat ! Thank you so much for taking time to share your ideas with us. We are grateful. One additional thing I do is a small fold down envelope. I use a strip of paper about 1-1/2 in. wide and about 6-7 in. long. I fold the paper in 4 sections and fold the top section with a reversed V so it looks like a tiny envelope. I decorate the outside of the envelope. On the inside top I write the words "date" and "thoughts." I put them into tuck spots throughout the journal.

INCREDIBLE and thank you soooo very much Dragana! I actually don't have too many scraps as I am at the beginning of my journey but I am dismantling paper bags at tyhe moment to use to create a journal all from secondhand/recyled items and this has given me plenty of ideas and once i start the scraps will start to pile up! I already have some from the offcuts from magazines i have grabbed beautiful images from and will make a masterboard :)

I have been making junk journals since 2010, and I know and used many of these techniques, but the way you have it arranged, It has taken me hours, but I have made a detailed document with screen prints so I can print them out and put them in my Inspiration notebook so I can look through it when I need inspiration. I am making a journal cover with my scraps. I glued tgem onto the tablet backs I just need to bind it and its done.

Okay maybe this is cheating😂but I take the scraps like u had in the bag and I (or my children back in the day or now grandchildren) glue them all over a tall plastic trash can then we choose a theme like doodles or hand drawn daisies or garden words n we paint on it and seal it. And u have a planter u can use or gift to grandchilds family or teacher. So u have gotten rid of scraps n old paints, kept a child busy n taught them recycling n reuse AND created a gift or useful item!!! Also do this with lengths of negative space off cuts from paper punches like hearts n circles Just glue neatly on large canvas or foam board or even cardboard or wood!....the n spray paint one color metallic paint or paint a solid color n dry brush with metallics! ❤❤❤Modern art!

Oh, moving can be exciting but also stressful and complicated. I moved so many times in my life. From town to town, country to country, even changed continents twice. The best advice I can give you is to label everything as you would with other things from your house. Color coding boxes is helpful, too. It will be easier to find things later. I would store ephemera in clear envelopes or boxes. Most of the things I have are already in plastic boxes so I would leave them like that and place in a bigger cardboard boxes. I hope this helped 😊❤️
