Junk Journal "Past Times Beauty" Flip Through (SOLD)
This is probably the biggest journal I have created so far.
"Past Times Beauty" is opulent, rich and vintage.
She is a big chunk of joy with many specialties and surprises on the outside as well as inside.

22 cm x 16 cm x 8.5 cm - inches: 8.7" x 6.3" x 3.3"
5 signatures, 160+ pages
The cover is made from an antique book, from 1877 and a vintage doily which is lavishly decorated with a fabric collage and several layers of lace. On the backside of this doily a cotton doily has been sewn on to form a hidden pocket.
The spine is decorated with beautiful, vintage Indian decorative trim.
The closure is made from a pretty brocade trim and invisible push buttons. It is further decorated with a vintage button.
The theme is a melange of vintage, romantic and shabby chic elements and the color scheme ranges from muted tones to more vibrant ones.
Inside there are many flip outs, envelopes, self created tags, papers and laces/ruffles.

This may be the most beautiful journal I have ever seen!!❤ I love every page 😊. For me, I love a mixture of writing spaces, art with mixed media, and photos, but mainly writing. space.

Hi Pam, thank you so much… as you can see I got inspired by your work quite a bit … fabric collages. Funny that I made a tag book some time ago and I enjoyed it a lot, especially I loved to bind the pages with torn fabric. The digital kit from RaindropLila is simply stunning and I am sure it was not the last time I used it, take care

Hi thanks for your kind words, I looked it up in the video and actually I got this fabric as a present by a friend who has a shop selling laces and trims. You are right it is beautiful and I would have loved to get more of it but it just was a left over which she could not sell so I was the lucky one. Have a great day Martina

Hi, I have done few „making of“ where I explained some of of the more complicated stuff. No real tutorial as my working style is not organized enough to show 😉. I did one „making of“ where I showed a similar design like the one here… it was for Vintage Bliss. Hope this helps
