Thanks Dawn😊 I know, it's ridiculous how expensive they can be here. A few years ago i did pick some up for a few pounds in a cheap shop, but they were very flimsy. Shops still insist on using plastic ones. Bad for the world and bad for crafters😊🤗💜

I’m sending a photo of my cover-I did decide on the paper!!😁 It’s a work in progress, but fun to pick up when I can! Thanks again for the tutorial. I plan to make a couple to send to friends, especially crafty ones so I can tuck in a few pieces of ephemera/“bits and bobs” for their own creative projects. What a fun world we crafters live in!!❤️

I know this is 2 years old, but commenting anyway ;) the eyelet tool? the handle falling off? I think thats what you said? I have that same challenge with some of my hole punches, the ones you hold in the palm of your hand? with the plastic handle covers. It only happens on one side of them too. I think when i squeeze, to punch the hole, the outer fingers, being shorter than the inner ones? are squeezing lower down on the handle and that is actually pulling that rubber off that side. We squeeze so hard and i think the topmost finger on the outside hits first then the little finger, and i just think that pushing the cover off. lol. You know the butterfly in this video you wanted to use, I had a journal i made and had the perfect butterfly for it but never could find the perfect place for it, lol. Drove me crazy.

Afternoon Lady😄 You are most welcome for the dangle 🤗 Taking washi off of sticker backing ...are! Such a pain! My plate for the mini is badly warped, not far from being a letter U, its irritating but still works fine...think you can get extra plates off of Amazon. Lovely little machine though. Those handles on the chomper...mine always come off! Thought it was just me though, lol🤣 lol, I got so fed up with pulling my string right out, that I've stopped cutting it off the roll till I'm done sewing! That is such a cute little journal, make great, quick, gift I'd think. Now, Ive been all around Tesco and home bargins today, so im going to curl up and whimper for a bit!

Ooo yes I did get a pack of spare plates I agree though it's still much easier than lining up separate plates and it cuts fabulously. Not been in those shops for over a year🙄 I really need to get out more 😅🤗💜

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns I've still got to get some spare plates, but it's still working so it comes down to sensible craft shopping or "ooh, that's pretty!", and yeah....we know what one wins! lol. I HATE grocery shopping, nice to chat with my mum though, only way I get out tbh, and oh my the ques at petrol stations! People were actually having to drive up onto paths in places to keep the traffic moving!

Such a fun project! Can't wait to make me one!

Wonderful make using your box of goodies. I do enjoy your paper bag projects. I had to laugh at your reaction when you came across the vellum stickers you didn't want to use 😆 you know the ones I mean 🤣 I had some vellum stickers from ebay that had something very similar in there! That book you bought, well here's a thing... that picture of the fish also put me about 🤣🤣🤣 Sharks I love, and of course the bugs. But those fish just give me the creeps. It's the eyes! 🤢😆

Hi Helen, I use walnut stain in the distress oxide. It seems less dark than in the regular distress and not orangy like the vintage photo. Hope that helps love☺️🤗💜

Hi Lynn, I actually checked for them a few days ago as my friend in OK wanted some and they were out of stock or ridiculously priced. They will appear on the storefront again when they're back in stock love☺️🤗💜

To make the pocket inside I would make the smaller bag pocket and fill it with goodies. When you pulled out that smaller bag I knew it right away.

I had to go back and get caught up with this video!!!! This is a darling journal!!!! I have just recently signed on with Your Creative Studio and am looking forward to getting my first box!!!!! Julie, I have a question about something I saw on your desk in another video. Its a bobbin that used for lace or ribbon. Could you please tell me where you found them? I wound lace and ribbons around peg clothespins and they become very bulky in a basket. Thanks so much!!!!
