I would like to see how you store your ink daubers and how you make your own (I've tried and I get an octagon type shape 🙄 not good for inking. Maybe I'm using a sponge that's to thick) and what type of glue you use to glue them on. Also, how to line up my crop-a-dile to get my holes straight...I've ruined a spine already and could have sworn I had everything lined up. And practicing on scraps isn't helping. What am I doing wrong!? 🤔 Have a great day.🙂

I've done similar covers. I coffee dyed the bag first and used acrylic paint instead of the ink pads. Used junk mail card stock, and coffee dyed printer paper. Coated the cover in mod podge to make it waterproof. I have to work on a dollar tree budget, so I collect junk mail, cereal boxes, fast food bags, etc. to use for covers. I love creating things out of what others consider 'trash'.

Junk Journals and more, for sure! My dad made the entire wall behind his and mom's fireplace look like leather with this technique back in the early 80s. He always had unique tastes, which embarrassed me as a kid, but they rubbed off on me, and I grew to appreciate his eclectic tastes as an adult.

As someone who finds herself makin' sound effects and talkin' in crazy accents & dialects, absentmindedly, while playing in the craft room, I appreciate the unedited silliness of each moment your videos bring. You're every inspiring and empowering, which is refreshing, to say the least. There's nothing I dislike more, than some of the condescending overtones of some craft tutorials out there. This is important, in my little world, as I find myself trying to inspire & encourage those around me. 💙 It's still quite early here on this cold, Saturday mornin' in the west Texas oilfield but I definitely know what I'm going to play around with, later today! Thank you, for being unique & not conforming to the pressures of being Ms. Perfect, tidy crafter. We all know, that's certainly not realistic.

A true crafter loads up to KZread to share their passion, not to gain favour from the world or to fulfil some narcissistic ego need, though a little appreciation goes a long way. If you like the ideas and the crafter's style/personaliy then show it, it costs you nothing? If you don't like it then don't watch it. I not only like Pam and her ideas but I like the people who take the time to watch and show their appreciation. It's an opportunity to share with folks across the world and to lift each other at this time of gloom. Here we can immerse ourselves, for a little while, in a different world, shut out reality and soothe our senses before we take up the baton and head out to fight adversity once more. God bless all the people who make this possible.

I used to make this all the time in my craft business. When I crinkle it I spray the bag with water first to dampen. The wrinkles are much smaller. More like an alligator skin. I then ironed it. I might do that a second time. Never used conditioner but that is something I will try. I left it plain and used modpoge and last used an antiquing glazeover the top. Back when I learned in 1990's we were not using our stamping inks for much more than stamps. 🤣 I am thinking a permanent ink if you stamped the paper first might be interesting to try. sort of like a brand on the leather.1 You have got me thinking!

It turned out fresh. I did not condition or ink the paper but the end product looked great. I am sure your could paint it but if you wanted a blue wall you should just start with blue bags. I have no idea where you would find blue paper bags.

You are a character n very very entertaining. So much more fun to watch n listen to then most. Really love the projects you do as well. Useful in everyday life things. Projects, probably most important part, duh! But the thing I like the most is how you instill confidence in us by reminding us - DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT & we don’t need the fancy/samancy tools, things around house that we probably already have work just fine. Thanks Pam hugs

This idea got me SO excited! I was just thinking about what to do with all the paperbags that´s been piling up lately (we use reusable bags since a few years back, but unplanned visits to the store ends up with paperbags) and I really need some new notebooks, so this project is beyond PERFECT for me! :D We are playing Dungeons and Dragons, and our players needs some notebooks to keep track on missions, loots and all that, so now I´m thinking of making notebooks like these to all of us :D THANK YOU 💜💜💜 so much for the amazing idea! :)

Absolutely fabulous. I was just asking the other day how to make a paper, leather look cover. So fed up with having to buy stuff just to make something, i.e. glycerin, as most people in their videos use this so I thought it was a must have for this sort of thing! So this is just great as I always have conditioner in the house and I’ve been saving paper bags so have a nice stash now. Thank you, this video came just at the right time for me :)
