This case breaks me. Whenever I hear that a 15 year old was killed. It breaks my heart because that was the age that my best friend was killed 😭😢 back in 2010. And just like junior my best friend Javier was killed by a gang member and my friend Javier was no gang member. Anyways this case just really breaks my heart because it it hits close to home. Anyways my heart and prayers go out with the family and I'm glad that they got the justice that they needed. This case really just breaks my heart 💔💔

25 years that's it they are lucky if I was the judge I will sentence them to two consecutive life terms back to back in a gulag type prison for the rest of their lives working in the salt mines 23 hrs a day hard labor and make sure they never ever see the sun rise again. That child was innocent and never coming back because of these bastards

It may have been 4 years since this happened but it still hits my heart & soul hard with this case the deserve to serve 25 to life but crazy how the other involved might now only serve 12 years for making a plea deal they all were involved in the crime & death of an innocent 15 year old they need to pay for the crime they did & peace to at least to his mom & his family

It’s so sad. I still never forgot those other 2 kids. Kevin Alvarez. And the darker skinned one. Why did they get off? They created the energy, going into that store and pulling him out. I hate that they got off.

Not being insensitive to the family or situation but family don’t know what really goes on in the infuvidyals life vecatse at that age at the tune fresh to high school trying to fit in sneaking around I’m sure he was a good kid but I would still question the individuals friends if mutual friends. Even if this is the final straw.

they thought he was someone else, they made an honest mistake. we all make mistakes, thats why pencils have erasers. its not fair to lock them up for making one mistake. probation, sure. maybe even community service, but not prison.
