i love they didnt shy to bare their feelings. they must really love and care how they portrayed the character till they felt the character are alive. now im gonna go watch it

Una magia. La loro intesa è stata veramente qualcosa di speciale. Vedere due attori che si emoziobano, rivedendo le scene girate, fa capire quanta passione mettono nel proprio lavoro. ❤️

No other K-drama hits me hard like this one, the emotion journey of the King and his unwaved affection toward his woman at some point became heart-wrenching to watch. Excellent acting from both, especially Lee Junho, coming from an idol group 2PM, his acting exceeded my expectation. He is so talented and hard working too, recent recognition (awards) well deserved!

@@rahaouinti yes moon lovers is great too. It makes you emotionally drained. Each ep is sad. But that drama as a whole was a lame joke. No useful base story. This is so much different. The acting, story(true story about true royals), cinematography, everything everything is perfect here. What I really loved the most is the female character. How she was fighting for herself till her death to not get lost among the men world. It's like true feminism.

@@rahaouinti Oh yeah, Scarlet Heart Reyo is my all time favorite. I think I wept first time in like episode 5, when the cousine died. Such a sad scene.😢 Moon Lovers has such a complex story line, there are actually several people, who meet tragic end and it hurts every time, because the drama makes such a good job on making you care for all of them 🤗 The whole cast does amazing job too and Lee Joon Gi became one of my most favorite actors. Watched all of his work afterwards. What an amazing actor 😘 One more thing for Moon Lovers I was surprised on the quality of the production. Seriously is more like a movie, than a K-drama, especially the soundtrack 😍 Soundtrack is high budget hollywood movie quality, no joke. Highly recommend, but careful, this one will leave you drained and completely shattered 😁

These two seriously owe us a Modern Day drama with a Happy Ending. I love their chemistry and how they brought these roles to Life!!! Hope to see them together again❤️

This series wrecked me! They were both amazing in it. Oh, and the chemistry between them was palpable!

Junho and Seyoung were fully immersed in their respective characters and the feelings and pains of the characters became them as if its their own. Brilliant acting ... applause 👏👏👏, one of the reasons why the drama is a success. How would they be able to forget the feelings .... if ever. SanDeok's pains and sorrow had become their pains and sorrow too, thats why it brought tears to them.

I wish they make a new drama with happy ending these two are amazing and the chemistry is phenomenal

I keep trying to move on, but sadly I have not been successful. This drama leaves a very strong imprint. The moments stay, the longing lingers and the love resonates... So for San and DeokIm that had lived, loved and died 200 years ago, i just want to say "your story has come before us, your tragedy has pulsed and beat with us, your love continue to be moments for eternity"

They acted with such emotions that even watching their own scenes is making them cry

The ost always makes the scene 1000 times more emotional

They actually transformed into that character the fact that the scene also put them into tears just by watching it. They really did an amazing job!

You know they're good actors when they make themselves cry. Wow!

I've never felt this empty after finishing a kdrama this sure is the best I kept sobbing until the end the actors were so real for this😭😭

One of the best kdrama,everything was so intens and so painful and in my opinion the actors did this drama to be the best.

i just finished this drama , i must say i couldn't even hold my tears i'm just crying like a baby i can't stop during THE WHOLE ep 17 and after it ended , the emotions im feeling right now it's so overwhelming , this drama hit me so hard like no other did i mean the last time i felt every emotion every scene every word was in the gladiator movie i was 10 years old .... i've never felt so down and empty finishing a drama !! the king's unwavering emotions toward his beloved women became heartaching and heart wrenching to watch , the lady's love for her freedom and yet at the end she let herself fall willinglly in the thing she feared the most because of her undeclared love to the king knowing that'll be her end , their devotion to each other become so heavy to watch knowing they're both destined to such tragique end , what broke me the most that it's taken from true history .... hands down to THE BEST historical drama i've watched during my 15 years of k-drama , round of applause to ALL the cast each one they were astaunishing , they truly deserved best drama of the year 2021 i don't care they do , this drama really marked me for life i know that THANK YOU JUNHO AND LEE SE YOUNG for your sincere emotions !

I can't choose between Mr. Sunshine and The Red Sleeve, so i won't. The Red Sleeve, along with Mr. Sunshine, is also my all time favourite and i don't expect it to change❤❤

Their so sweet, we just love them we couldn't help but cry. It's sad it was based on a true story.

I get so emotional every time I see these scenes. I’ve watched so many dramas but this one just stuck in my heart. I was sobbing at the end ..

I loved "Red Sleeve" very much. It was very moving, based on real people of the day. Maybe it's time to watch it again, after having watched "King the Land." 😍😘 This is from Wikipedia: The drama (Red Sleeve) became a success, sweeping 8 awards at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards, with him getting Top Excellence Award. Lee Junho was the first idol-actor to win Best Actor at 2022's Korea PD Awards, and also won the awards for Most Popular Actor and Best Actor - Television at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards, becoming the first idol to win the latter. [Well deserved!]

I cry by just thinking of this drama.. It's like a deep wound in my heart, but in a good way.. Absolutely one of my top 3 dramas that I've watched in my life

I cried over the ending as well as all my friends. These two were phenomenal together and I hope they do another drama together.

I pray that lee jun ho will receive more historical drama projects. It really suits him ❤️❤️❤️

I was heartbroken while watching this, especially when you think about it being based in fact. I went on to read as much as I could find out about the King Yi San and Deok Im, it really was a tragic story. JunHo and Lee Seyoung did an excellent job.

I read about the lovestory of King Jeongjo and Royal Consort Uibin a lot and I couldn't stop crying watching the show and their tragic love story. I literally couldn't move on for months every time I think about them. They portrayed their characters very well.

This is the first Lee Junho's drama that I've watched. It amazes me from Episode 1-17. No doubt this was a very good drama.

This year i watched my first K drama Mr Queen. I searched its comment sections and i saw people say that "The red sleeve" is also a good show but now i wish i had not watched it. It invested 26 hours of my life in-between pausing to cry, shout or think. my heart is it weeps, these are fictional characters but i was so invested in their lives that their sorrows and happiness became mine as well. This is why im in pain: In the beginning it was the San who always had his face drawn and sad and Doek-im was always smiling and bright but as the show progressed i saw that smile fade away. When her friends went off for a picnic, she saw the ghost of her former past smiling and colourful as she waved sadly. It is at this very moment that i understood her as she waved her final goodbyes. Doek-im did love the king but she loved her freedom more. This moment left me so cold and empty because it hits so close to home. I always try to make practical decisions that serve a function i told my brother whom i look up to this and that they bring me happiness and he replied "But, are you living at all" I Am afraid of making a bad decision that will leave me with regret and forever dream about what i could have been. Call me a coward, or boring i guess. She began to smile less and less while the one that loved her, through her was finally able to experience happiness. I am overcome with sad emotions whenever a thought of this show crosses my mind. I hate true to life period dramas (I watched the white queen/princess with my sister: The plotting, the scheming the lying it was too much,i lost it when the crown prince and the little princes were alleged murdered and until today nobody knows who did it and where their bodies are. It pained me to see a mother desperately looking for her "Boys" and never truly finding comfort . By the time my sister started watching Spanish princess and The empress i would ask my sister to lower the volume because i did not want to even hear (despite the fact i am the one who got her into period dramas.I wonder if i should drag her into this Misery?) because they always end in tragedy. I naively choose this show expecting a happily ever after story but as i watched on my rose-tinted glasses began to crack and by the end they were completed shattered. I thank the production team and the actors for the beautiful scripting and acting. I was truly moved and they deserve Evey ward they got. comments brings me solace knowing that i am not alone. Sharing my thoughts has made me feel better.

The emotional scenes were Phanomenol and the acting was beyond spectacular.

This was so heart breaking cried buckets 😭😭😭

to actually see them as themselves was hard for them both but for us as viewers it was a memorable moment that thousand of others would have felt, i was just such a sad last episode that you just had to cry right though that whole eps 17 well done to everyone involved from the directional and the production and the story tellers to the main actors and supporting you are all amazing to know that love isn't lost and you showed that through the episodes with all its ups and downs thankyou

I was speechless by Lee Junho's acting. He really touched me with his tears, like I cried together and felt the pain of his character. I confess I wasn't expecting much of him because he is an idol ( cha eun woo for example has to improve A LOT). But I was very surprised! He acted even better than some veteran actors (like Lee Min Ho)... His character was a difficult one and he nailed it. I look forward for his future projects.

Moments as from 1.19 mins made me emotional.... Such beautiful acting.

This is the best historical kdrama for me. It's even based on true events. The actors did an excellent work. Cinematography on point. This drama was the first one that got me emotional and i am not an emotional type.

I just finished rewatching and episode 17 made me cry a second time. This is one of those series where it's heavy, but I'll 100% recommend it.

This is my first historical drama so I tuned in thinking I would try to make it through a couple episodes to watch Junho. Boy, was I wrong. I have no idea what is going on around me in my world since they pull me totally into their world. Deserves lots of awards!

Everytime i see a movie or series that cuts me to the core because how beautifull and how sad it is, i search casts interviews on KZread to see them happy, laughing, telling behind the scenes details so that i know that the real life them are happy. And then is this. 😅 It broker my heart once more seing them tear... More than anything, i loved how they portraid their characters, with such delicacy and purity both sides i would say, and also strong but not harsh personality. One of my favorite dramas now ❤❤❤
