I was at RAF Labuan in 1966; 230 Sdn Whirlwinds,....Pembroke, Twin Pioneer, Beverleys, RN Wessex.The Bev found it's perfect role at Labuan; short, sharp trips, packed with goodies for the troops below. Our Whirlwinds couldn't carry much so RN 845 and 848 Wessex came to help us out....much to our shame..the Navy chaps called us The Static Display Squadron! Sgts Lawn and Lamb were our top jungle clearing aces.

I was a pilot on 110 Sqn flying Whirlwind 10 helicopters. Flying a single engine helicopter over the Borneo jungle for extended periods was best not thought about to deeply!

Fantastic footage of Beverlys, English Electric Canberras, and the Javelin all weather fighters.

I was on 34 Squadron Beverleys 1960/62 at Seletar.

Fascinating video. Are you sure it is 1961?, the Victors are in camouflage which didn't appear until 1964/65. It looks more like 1965
