The feeling of the Romeo and Juliet movie is not random according to the director. That's exactly where some of this inspiration for the set and the story was derived from. Along with this actually being an homage to Michael Jackson according to HYBE.

You’re right on Romeo + Juliet! The MV director did say that was the inspiration. ☺️ he did some live performances which you might find interesting esp the iHeart radio which was with a live band. For some reason, when Jk performs live, it always seems to be different in a good way. The TSX stage and Fallon live performances were also a must watch! 🔥 He will be having a showcase/ concert in Seoul for Army but it will be livestream for free on Weverse on Nov 20 - in case you want to check it out. ☺️💜

I agree...he's just as good (if not better). I believe this was the choreo for the live performance on the Jimmy Fallon show. He also performed a version without backup dancers on iHeart Radio (so good with live band). Last, he pretty much shut down Times Square on the 9th and performed 5 songs (he drew a crowd with only 30 minutes official notice other than the day before saying a surprise was coming for NY. lol There were a Lot of people in Times Square at rush hour. :) He performed on the Today show on the 8th I think, but it was freezing cold out and he only did partial choreo for Standing Next to You.

All the new songs of the album are very good! The album is conceptual, it tell us the story of a couple (Romeo and Juliet? Who knows? 😅). He wanted to talk about love. The backdancers are choreographers (Brian was Jimin's solo choreographer). There are four lives till now. Imho, the best are Times Square and Iradioheart. I always say that BTS is like a group of seven MJs 😂😂😂 but in fact they are a gokden team! 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Yes I noticed the DNA the black wings and Left and Right (JK did the colab with Charlie Puth for Left and Right) I also noticed something that JK did at the begining we only get a glimce but he did a Latin Ballroom walk that he did at the beginning of Airplane 2 at one of the Award Shows. Someone did say the Black Wings is something to do with Romeo and Juliet however in the story of Romeo and Juliet there are no Wings. Someone said they ment the film I though what film? Romeo and Juliet a play by William Shakespear and it doesn't contain Wings.

He did the choreography version as well, the dance practice is for that one. Please check it out, you gonna love it.

Finally someone who remembers Romeo and Juliet!!!!!! The director Tanu Muino said it was her chance to pay homage to Baz Luhrmann's film and make JK her Romeo. My 2 favorite things Shakespeare and Jungkook. This song is flames. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 😘💜🫰🏻 This practice is for the lives but especially the Jimmy Fallon performance.

@eileencritchley4630 in the version by Baz Luhrmann, which the mv is based on Juliet is wearing wings when she meets Romeo. The palm to palm is holy palmers kiss scene. Her wings are on the movie poster.

I've seen that move before with the microphone stand I think it was a dance programme a few years ago here in the UK it's also in a very old black and white Film I think it might have been a Fred Astaire film. uggh I kept trying oh oh oh it might even have been in Elvis Presley film possible it might have been the one with Jail House Rock in it. My father loved Elvis and my mother loved old Black and white Fred Astaire and Ginger Roger's Films.

Yessss he has done live performance for Jimmy's show, and also on Times Square (this one's uploaded on Bangtan Tv) where he performed few more songs of his. You will love it. JK was asked about touring he said he doesn't have enough songs to do that yet. I was thinking about it and if he was to have 'guest' appearance's he's all his colabs plus his BTS solo's he could do a tour maybe not a 3hour long performance but nether the less a good concert he could even put some dance numbers mixed in with no singing. In fact I think V and Jimin could do the same. However I don't think they have time as enlistment is december/jan in order to all be out in 2025. It would take time to arrange a tour it takes months of preparation to do the quality of tour required.

The "fight scene" choreo really gives me STRONG "Beat It" vibes. Good reaction Bryan. Great song & video. I'd love to see you do his LIVE TSX Times Square performance. It was amazing & I think you'd appreciate it. JK is really taking off as a global superstar & I'm so proud of him. BTS 2025 will be a legit supergroup. Lolz....so a comment was made the other day. Kookie's back ground dancers are famous AF...between them, having appeared in hundreds of other well known vids. From Chris Brown to Usher. Many peeps know them by name etc. So.....given that they've studied dancing for yrs. Many were giving 'Kudos' to Kookie for 'keeping up'.......uhhhh Hellur? The patronizing was real 🤣🤣 Why the surprise? They may be phenomenal dancers but can they SING whilst dancing....for HOURS at a BTS concert - without ONCE singing 'out of tune or gasping for breath'? Nope. Not sure 'who's idea it was'....back then. Perhaps their Main choreographer but dem kids learned how to 'sing' while on a treadmill going at top speed. Point is: While I acknowledge the 'famous' background dancers....Kookie has been pulling 14hr days of dance practice in their studio.. since he was 14. Why 'wouldn't he be able to 'keep up'? Nah.....his back ground dancers do NOT outshine him. No matter their Infamy 💜

I've watched the dance practice once for every dancer in the mv as they all do something different yet. First time I concentrated on JK then each dancer in turn starting with the guy in the red hat. Then I went back to Jk then watched it again as a whole.
