It's hard work some LPS, have some torches slowly dying. I had higher phosphates and zero nitrates, had cyano outbreak also. Now have 2-5ppm nitrates and zero phosphates, dosing around 2ppm nitrates by hand a month was dosing 1ppm nitrates a day to make a dent, I've stopped adding so much coral food or vitamins to the tank as feeding the algae. Only once a month add the coral food or amino vitamins.

Ahh yeah that's interesting. I'll have to double check the phosphates, that could be it

I also leave the filter socks in tell I get more NO3 back. So I wouldn’t change them tell u start to get some nutrients back
