I loved making the placemats but make sure your fabric is dark enough or heavy enough so you cannot see the numbers on the batting through your fabric. I didn’t notice this until I had finished all six!

The first two projects remind me of log cabin block variations - my favorite block. Thank you Linda Gagnon for the tip on fabric choices - sounds like that is something the company should put on the packaging. I've not made a June Tailor project, although I have a couple I've received from subscription boxes. I just figured that the numbers and lines would wash out in the laundry like Frixon pen marks. Carolina - I'd love to see the Bargello style tree skirt - I've not done Bargello.

There are several i would love to try!

I am addicted to QAYG kits! I have 3 bins full of kits in my stash. Can't wait to see what different ideas you have for these. You can also make your own sash in a dash. @@jackie-dbdstitchart4969 I didn't. I bought some of the June Tailor sash in a dash so I had measurements and a basic idea of how to put it together. I love the sash in a dash, but while there are many colors, you are still limited, so it's nice to make your own for a better match sometimes.

I am only interested in the tree skirt. May be interested in others as you do them.

When I was playing with it foe this video, I could already see how much of a "bite" it was taking out of the edge of the Fat Quarter shown. We don't want that with many of our blocks. I think it is avoidable with proper planning. And I always want to give y'all the absolute best with everything I do - hopefully some tips and tricks you don't find elsewhere, but can share with your friends or guild at your next sewing get-together. ❤️

The sashing would probably work for a t-shirt quilt.

Interesting thought! It isn't apparent to me how, since it is a two-sided casing, not four sided... but now I'm going to puzzle on it... 🤔
