I'm almost your age, so maybe you'll remember the old "Dragnet" show where Joe Friday often said, "Just the facts, ma'am." This is the best tutorial for joining QAYGO blocks. I have twelve blocks ready to join. I did an online tutorial for them but was totally lost on understanding the printed instruction to join them. Been sat in a bag for over a year. Got to get working on them. Thank you.

Thank you! We really appreciate that! To do it with a wider piece, you would have to do it a bit differently, because you would then need to add batting to the strips. With this method you don't need to because the blocks butt up against each other to fill the gap. It might be easier to make your blocks with a border, then use the same fabric to join them together for the look of a wider sashing. I hope that makes sense! 🌷
