I really want a new Mario game no matter what. (It doesn’t have to be Odyssey 2.) But we’ll see!

I would really like an Odyssey 2. In all honesty though I think it might be another NSMB game.

I hope we get some huge stuff. I mean it’s perfectly justifiable to have high expectations. But whatever we get comes down to what you want ultimately. We need big first party IP announcements. Plain and simple. This is a mid year summer direct gaming news season we’re talking about here. It’s finally their turn. Whenever we get a regular lengthy direct, there bond to be some surprises somewhere as oppose to a one game direct or a Nintendo Direct Mini/Indie Games. After Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, there’s too much dry mystery with Nintendo for the remainder of the year.

I really hope they just fill out the rest of the year. In all honesty I think we're getting some announcement at the beginning of next year about a new console so the least they can do is give us something besides Pikmin 4 to look forward to.

@@Shadicstick Yeah. There’s going to be something huge here and there.

I'm pretty much going into this direct with low expectations, as always. Aside from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC and Pikmin 4, I don't really know what else to expect. I do agree that Nintendo should have a decent line up for the holiday season and early 2024. We're in new console territory right now so I don't expect anything massive like a 3D Mario or Prime 4 (pain), but there just needs to be games that people can look forward to for the rest of the year.

I think they'll deliver (considering they announced the direct now LMAO) but I'm really thinking we might be in the territory of a ton of remasters
