I was five years old when Don Bolles was assassinated, and I still remember the TV news coverage. I've always remembered the exploded Datsun and Don facedown next to it with an oxygen mask. I remember how horrifying it was. What Don's murderers did reached much farther beyond that hotel parking lot in Phoenix. RIP, Don, and thank you for your bravery.

So sad. It is also sad that today's media is so biased and unethical.

41 years ago tomorrow, Kaboom!..Phoenix was never the same again for many reasons but a so called thing called the Mafia didn't do this, Other's did! As a very proud Italian American from a very large Italian Family it pisses me off every time I hear these reporter's say "The Italian Mafia or Mafia did this". Wish some people would get there stories straight, I was a young boy growing up in Phoenix when this happened a Freshman in High School living about a block away form this, Heard it and felt it all but knew nothing else til I saw the news, Sure makes me laugh all these years later at how the photo's show the Phoenix Keystone cops walking all over the crime scene, Anyway's RIP Don Bolles.
