In today's video, I break down my Old Rubber Band Secret for Perfect Shooting Release! Shooting release is an under talked about aspect to a players jump shot. This trick is something that has helped me really optimize my basketball shooting release. Make sure you pay close attention throughout the video so you can utilize my Old Rubber Band Secret for Perfect Shooting Release! These simple basketball shooting techniques are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these tips into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your shooting percentage!
My first talking point I dive in and explain to you what the old rubber band jumper hack is and show you how I use the rubber band to optimize my basketball shooting release. If we look at the best shooters in the NBA think of guys like James Harden and Steph Curry they have an optimized shooting release that helps guide the ball all the way to the basket. Both shooters all get phenomenal rotation on their jump shots. When it comes to using the rubber band it's important to establish what type of shooter you are and what finger the ball last touches when you shoot. By establishing that you can figure out what finger you need to use the rubber band on! Now that you know how to utilize the rubber band to optimize your shooting release we move it to some drills that will help you master the perfect shooting release!
My first drill to help you optimize your shooting release is what I call wrist only form shooting. This drill is awesome for really honing in the muscle memory on your shooting release. This is a great way for a basketball player to get a good feel for the rubber band on your hand!
My second drill to help you master the perfect shooting release is what I call loaded pull-ups! Basically, we are forcing you to really load up your wrist on your pre-shot motion before using the rubber band to pull your shooting finger down. This is an awesome basketball shooting drill to really force that shooting finger down thus optimizing your shooting release!
My last shooting drill to help you optimize your perfect shooting release is what I call pogo shooting! Pogo shooting will also force you to load your wrist early and get a good snap on the ball on your follow-through for a smooth jump shot! Make sure to implement these pro secrets to lights out shooting into your game today! These are all drills that can really help you skyrocket your basketball shooting form so make sure you work on them to optimize your shooting release.
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball shooting tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and implement the Old Rubber Band for Perfect Shooting Release into your game today!

In a CP3 video of yours, you said something like flicking all your fingers down helps to get "shooters roll" because it gives a softer touch, or something like that ~ can you clarify what you meant, especially in light of saying to only snap with your dominant finger.... ? Thank you for your time.

A lighter touch will allow the chance for a better roll in for example if you hit the front rim since it has little weight on it it has a better chance of rolling in whereas if it was a hard shot it would shoot right back at you.
