Very interesting the fact that it can take off vertically. It seems to me a "plus" in its potential benefits. Hopefully you may continue to improve this platform.
Very impressive!
You guys make some pretty cool stuff..🍻🍻👍👍
AeroVironment, thanks from all Ukrenians!
Pretty impressive
glad UA will recive this
impressive, we are wondering when the design will be certified?
Wallah haddm kre d.. .
How do you do the video transmission without delay on these kind of systems?
Can it be used from ships?
The directional antenna could be a problem for video downlink if the link is broken due to jamming or nav errors. There must be a RTB or LOST-CONTROL/Independent mode and ability to record and bring back ISR info I suspect. Hopefully the bird is protected against a TAKEOVER as what happened with the Iranian incident.
Would be good to see it transition from fixed wing flight to the hover mode.

Its a different UAV but the configuration is very similar kzread.info/dash/bejne/k2ugx81xYsKrnrA.html
How heavy for the drone pod does it carried? Is it for military or civilian?

Could be both, but the LINK-16 is strictly military AFAIK.
1A option comes with a fiber glass plat form that can seat 1 human body. Maybe Ukrainian could use something like this

sure this will be another "Game changer" for the Ukies ;-)
Seems like this could be one of the drones that was shot down near Moscow
it isn't particularly pretty, but I't certainly seems to have a lot of potential uses:)
You put on 4 VTOL motors, yet put a 5th to move forward, so the 4 motors weight that is basicly dead weight during flight forward?. Maybe its just me, but just seem like a terrible waste of energy.. The ones i like is the 3~4 VTOL motors, and then they switch to forward and/or backwards and use all of them for forward motion, nothing is wasted and can do lower RPM as all is used for creating torque, one or two fails, it still will work atleast for forward trust..
Hi
Why doesn't the company donate some of these (or even some of the smaller drone models) to Ukraine? It would bring some great publicity for the company.

Would there be any operational benefits to incorporating the thin film flexible solar panels into the wing and fuselage surfaces to appreciably extend the usable flight times ? I'd like to see one stay aloft for days or weeks without landing other than resupply of armaments .

What about a "hybrid" propulsion system. Makes it even quieter.
How do I get a job at aerovironment?
