Garden is looking sweet. Sounds like a transformer on one of the poles near your property is acting up, there is a good bit of interference with your mic's signal. Edit: Thai peppers have a bite that is about habenjero in intensity from what I recall tasting them awhile back. The burn is different though, not something I'm good at explaining.
