I have cried on almost every birthday because I had a certain expectation of how it was supposed to be instead of just enjoying it. I am an over thinker by nature and always feel like people don’t really like me and that feeling just gets stronger on my birthday, which I really hate. I enjoy other people’s birthdays more. Thank you for talking about this, I really feel less alone🤍

I love how candid your vlogs are. I could honestly listen to you chatting with your friends about random stuff all day. Totally relate to your feelings about birthdays as well - getting anxious about whether people will care/becoming less popular (even though that doesn’t matter), stressed about hosting and whether people will have a good time etc 💓

Hi! This year I have cried on my birthday for the first time and was sad for a little while because someone who was important to me forgot about my birthday but i felt kind of like i was not supposed to cry on my birthday. It made me feel a bit guilty or like i wasn't grateful enough - because i had already gotten such sweet things from my parents and other friends. So, yes, i felt a bit bad about feeling bad for a few hours on my birthday and it kind of relieved me to see that other people don't feel only 100% happy all the time on their birthday either. I suppose it's actually SO okay and normal to have negative or sad moments, EVEN on our birthdays and even though we are appreciative at the same time:) xx
