Another tip for you because I’m sure you haven’t given up on more gardening this year. I sure hope not anyway because you were doing amazing!!!!!! Take a paint brush and while the male flowers are open on the pumpkins/squash then rub all in the male flower with the brush. And take it to the female fruiting flower and rub it inside of it. If the pollinators aren’t getting it done you can help some and hopefully get more food ☺️

It’s crazy how much you learn from just starting a garden. I just started mine at the end of July and decided to jump out the window with it. I’ve learned so much in such a short period. It’s so much fun and it’s rewarding seeing the fruit of your labor. But it can be incredibly overwhelming and frustrating when you’re doing everything to care for the plants and they still succumb to pests or disease. Good luck! I’m sure it will all work out.

Just letting you know you can eat the leaves of the sweet potato also. Although I wouldn’t eat them if they don’t look well either but I just wanted to let you know. Don’t eat other potato leaves. Only sweet potato. Sweet potato is not the same as other potatoes. Most potatoes are nightshades. Sweet potatoes are not. 🖤
