Juliet drives the new Toyota Fortuner

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I just said I would maybe take the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport over the Toyota Fortuner, but then I hadn't yet driven the updated version. Fok.

Key difference between the Pajero and Fortuner when I had a look was how the second row can move and the last row can recline in the Toyota. The Pajero is amazing, but I needed the extra seats, so I put a premium on that for my kiddos. Going with the 2.8VX 4x2.

R100k more than the equivalent Pajero Sport is a lot of money, I'll take the Pajero Sport and buy a 2 year old Renault Kwid (for the kids) with the leftover change thanks! Or just buy lots of beer with the change, beer is always good.

@@Lesiba2 yes but if I did have the cash I wouldn't spend it all on the Fortuner, I'd buy the Pajero and spend the rest of the money on beer.

Pajero sport is actually better. Cant believe ppl spend that premium money on toyota. Toyota are great but for its price not a damn.

R100k more than the Pajero Sport and you get Toyota Connect and 2 seats strapped up against the rear windows? Wow. The Rand does not buy you a lot nowadays.

Rented this car for a week. New engine with some power is welcome. The downside, horribly cheap interior plastic for almost R800k is pathetic, air con is pretty crap when compared to other cars in this range.

That cheap interior plastic and the stiff ride is what made fall out of love with the Tuna and buy the Exceed. Yes it has more power and torque but if I want to get the Pajero to move I just use my paddle shifters and my gosh it moves!

Im dissapointed that the pajero sport and the triton dont have the same tech as in the euro and asian models i.e lane departure warning, rear air vents, rear traffic mitigation, front parking sensors, android auto and apple car play, 360 degree camera, adaptive cruise...they pretty basic

The dashboard is hard plastic like my R170 000 Swift. Ride quality and road handling is unacceptable for a car costing R800 000. Everest or Pajero Sport are more comfortable and also very capable off road.
