What an awesome interview. Thank you for posting. What struck me is that all the things I do so admire in her now, her positiveness, her sense of wonder, her ability to get to the essence of things, were already there 15 years ago. And that all these things are still there, after she lost one of the most important parts of herself, her singing voice. Now she has lost another essential part of herself, her husband, but I think that when we will hear her again, she will still say the same things.

Interesting after this interview, she went onto a long running highly successful concert tour all over the U.S. and then went over to Japan twice in 1992 and 1993 as well to sing. Maybe she was petrified that people no longer considered her primarily as a singer. LOL. Good job interviewer for putting up for it.

A rarely interesting interview! The most chilling thing about this is that in the movie 'That's Life' Julie plays a singer who has throat cancer and could potentially lose her voice. It would only be 10 years after this movie that the loss of voice would become a reality for Julie. X

Strange how these things impart on people, almost like it was written to be as it was. Freaky.

I was amazed by this movie and how real it came to pass. The errie realization of Julie losing her voice. But she is still the most wonderful of all time! #julieisthebestever

It is THE most important, MOST wonderful experience!! Thank God we woman were given us, I know it was over my head the love of my first born and realizing that my love for my little was nothing compared to the Love of my Lord and Saviour - mind boggling! His main reason for all who are Christians to be here on Earth is to reach out with His message and become an ambassador for Our Lord, to those around us for when Jesus does come to take His family with Him to Heaven. HIS WORD does state He will come when all He knows will/have Him as their personal Saviour, acceptance of Him as the Saviour of all the world. His Death on the Cross WAS FOR OUR SINS, yes, Our sins! He paid the Ultimate price for OUR SINS. The miracle of His rising from the dead was proof of what all God's Word told us, returning to his Father in Heaven to prepare a place for US! It was He who spoke the words "go into all the world and preach the Gospel to EVERY creature." That's our main reason while we are here on Earth!!!
