incredible actress. though i cannot believe they didn't include her greatest performance of all time, which is of course her boston accent on 30 rock

Indeed. It might be the best film she ever played in. But on the other hand, this interview is so vapid that who cares... I am almost relieved that it is not included in all these AMAAAAZING and WOOOONDERFUL things.

That was the role that floored me. I used to watch Moore on As the World Turns, so I knew who she was, but seeing her in Safe was a revelation. Moore and Haynes are cinematic magic together and I would love to know how they developed her character.
I always appreciate how positive and respectful Julianne Moore is about her time on soaps. Soaps at their best were a special artform that few others can rival, due to the longevity and history of the characters and stories. I'm glad she helps keep them alive through treating them with more kindness than most of the people who ran them ever did.

I think we need a part 2.. lots of other films she’s done I’d love to hear her talk about.

Yeah when I think of J. Moore I still always think of her crying in the car after the pharmacy scene in Magnolia.
She's a quiet powerhouse, just a few words and a look are so much. On ATWT you would totally forget it was the same actress, that seldom happens.

It really is. Her performance in that was so touching. The hotel scene with the flooding…. So stunning.
I adore Julianne Moore! She's captivating and I feel like I become completely absorbed in her films and her characters storyline. So happy to see her doing these!
I loved her in The Hours. The way she articulated the characters internal dialogue and emotional state was JUST SUPERB! 👌
I’ve loved her for so many years. It’s been so lovely to follow her career. Go Julianne!
She’s incredible. Such a shame she didn’t get an academy award nomination for May December
IMO Julianne Moore is the finest actor working today (and for the past 25 years). She’s almost always the best part of whatever project she’s in. Her talent is simply… boundless. She continues to take chances, and still just gets better & better. There’s such a calm and warm vibe about her as a person that has always mesmerized me, too, and yet she imbues her best characters with extreme emotional complexity.
I love Julianne Moore so much. She’s a great actor. She’s a phenomenal woman!
I LOVE her. I was so honored to meet her when she was filming "Suburbicon" near my house. In between takes she came over to the crowd of fans watching and signed autographs and took pics... and I got a pic with her. She was so sweet.
She is so pretty
I love this and her so much but really need Safe, Don Jon, Kids Are Alright and Hand That Rocks the Cradle! Can this video please have a second part lol
her performance in todd haynes’ safe really stuck with me, though i’ve only seen it once in my life it’s something i mentally go back to when julianne’s name comes up. really harrowing and heavy in terms of the portrayal of a strained housewife

That twilight line reading is an all timer lmao
Oh I wanted to hear her talk about Safe!!! One of the great American films and one of her best performances!
Such a phenomenal actress. A living legend, in my opinion.
She's been in so many iconic films!!
One of the most versatile and fearless actors of our time
Still Alice is my favourite movies of hers. She truly is a great actress
Really like Magnolia...regardless of how over the top it is. She nailed that part. Also think Hannibal was severely underrated. Her performance truly felt like a natural progression for the Clarice character. Wouldn't really compare her Clarice to Jodi Foster's, as it's hard to touch such an iconic role...but she was practically the perfect replacement in my view. Stellar career in all. One of the best ever.
Why was Short Cut not on the list? Also too bad she didn't talk about Nine Months and how she reall feel about Hugh Grant. Honestly should make an hour version of this, so many great roles!

It didn't occur to me just how many great directors she's worked with
Game Change is phenomenal, happy to see it highlighted. Moore truly is one of the best.
I am a huge fan of the Silence of the Lambs, so I watched Hannibal a ton as a teen and learned to love Julianne since then. But The Hours is her magnum opus in my opinion. That or May December!
I love her! She’s incredibly talented actress and her movies are great. I love watching her in anything she’s in. ❤
Probably my favorite actress. I haven't been able to watch Still Alice, I believe I'm just going to break in a bad way, but I know she was fantastic there.

Absolutely love her as amber waves in boogie nights! One of my favorite movies! Love Julianne Moore!
Once in NYC I saw her while they were filming 30 Rock. She was standing pretty close and with just a barrier between her and the crowd watching. She is gorgeous in person. Her skin was unbelievable. I always thought she was beautiful but never truly appreciated it until I saw her in person. Plus she is an amazing actress which of course is more important.
One of the greatest actors of all time. Just brilliant. Watched the Hours today and wow. I don't know how she didn't win the Oscar that year.
She's so articulate about May December! Love it
Loved this!
What a legend!!! And generous with her time and story.
Magnolia should have been featured here. She was amazing in that movie :)
Eu sou uma grande fã de Julianne Moore. Esse quadro é muito legal. 🇧🇷❤️
Whoever decided to skip Safe on her timeline is a monster.
It is CRIMINAL that this video only has 100k view rn,,,
Her performance in Still Alice was a master class in acting. Every time I watch it…Julianne Moore DESTROYS me! She is so incredibly talented and I love her personality!😊
Children of Men is a true stand out in this line up.
11:38 Yesssss !!! Love this movie !
I love her perfomance in The Hands that rocks Cradle
I wish they included her role as Marlene Craven in The Hand that Rocks the Cradle. She's badass in that movie.
She was amazing in Don Jon
I thought she was fabulous in Hannibal, and that movie deserves reappraisal. Another strange, dark epic by Ridley Scott and an excellent performance by Julianne Moore.
I love her, she just seems so delightful and warm. I'm a little sad "The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio" didn't get included. I really liked that movie.
I love her take as Clarice Starling! I'm in the minority who thinks Hannibal is slightly better than Silence of the lambs for a lot of reasons and one of them is Julianne.
Her performance in May December is really masterful. It has stayed with me ever since I watched it. I love this interview with her slight shade towards the method actors "we are in character, but you don't carry it with you. You're able to take it off and enjoy each other's company." That quote and this video should be shared with all the Jared Leto actor-bros. Sorry Jeremy Strong, Julianne's "method" is better.
i always love the joy that radiats off Julianne.
She was phenomenal in children of men; amazing film
Julianne Moore is a living legend, simple as that!
Julianne Moore!! I love you!! You're a fantastic actor and as beautiful as ever!
I would've surely thought Short Cuts to make the cut given the nature of the film, Altman and all the great actors involved
I few of these movies I still need to see
she's the moment I just love her and she's iconic
I can't believe you didn't give her space to talk about her performance in Short Cuts, which I think is where many people first started taking her seriously as a tour-de-force actress. When she has her argument scene while holding a paint brush and her bottom half clearly exposed for the viewer to see...there was so much boldness and power in that scene that I couldn't wait to see what else she could do. It feels like a travesty that you couldn't make space for that film on the timeline (or for Safe, either, though I guess there are only so many Todd Haynes performances you could include) yet you could for not one, but TWO Hunger Games films.
Love Still Alice! Great film!
She’s my actress queen!
Still Alice is such an amazing movie!
i've been obsessed with this woman since may december. no clue why it took me so long but there's something really magnetic about how she approaches acting
Was hoping she'd talk about "Safe" with Todd Haynes but I guess she was already gonna talk about May December. Still a great video!!
One of the best character actresses ever.
Very impressive video. I like it. While we're on the topic of Vanity Fair videos, I am absolutely anticipating the video on "Plumber reviews toilet scenes"
such an illustrious career
Excellent actor. I've been a fan since I saw her in Boogie Nights. I loved her performance in Magnolia.
Still alice is amazing. It breaks my heart every time I watch it.
The End of the Affair was when I first really got to know her.
SHE IS ICONIC!
I just LOVE Julianne!
Julianne is a treasure, such a committed performer. And thorough.
Julianne Moore is a great actress. Loved you in The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and The Fugitive although they were smaller roles that's when I noticed what a great actress you are.
An amazing woman and artist. So glad to have met her in 2014 before her Oscar win for “Still Alice”. Her role as Laura Brown in “The Hours” will always move me to tears…
Legendary filmography
Amazing story. I was hoping to see what her thoughts or on being the voice of ARIIA in Eagle Eye.
The Hand that Rocks the Cradle!
One of my favourite actresses! She seems kind too and is a radiant beauty!
Would have liked to see her talk a bit about short cuts

I was actually glad that they included ATWT!
She’s soooo pretty 😍
Best actress out there and no snobbery to being in a soap or getting attacked by a stegosaurus..she just loves being an actress.
1 of my favourite actresses of all time and she's still painfully gorgeous she never ages
