He could've just moved the ball around and run around the court until he finds an open spot (Stephen Curry style) He also shoots a lot of half court shots and deep threes knowing only about 5% of those will actually go in. However, he doesn't care because he's only gonna include the shots that went in to his mixtape.

Played on a middle team years ago this kids dad was the coach. I was trash but so was his son, but I got to play like 2 mins a game and his son plays the whole time.

This reminds me of my dorm team playing University of Notre Dame players on the off season at the gym (the Rock) back in the 80s when they had Woolridge, Paxson, tripucka, sluby. They’d occasionally get a full court run against us regular guys. The ball would never touch the floor and end with a dunk. They would let us try to shoot, then rebound , two passes and a dunk. I got stitches when one player came down and his elbow hit my eye.
