Julian Jackson - Is a former professional boxer from Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who held the WBA light middleweight title, and the WBC middleweight title twice. Known as "The Hawk", Jackson is regarded by many as one of the hardest punchers in boxing history, pound for pound, and was ranked number 25 by The Ring magazine in a 2003 list of "100 Greatest Punchers".

    Most of these guys were knocked out before the punch even finished landing,he seems to freeze them instantly then there whole body goes stiff and they fall like trees and lay motionless for minutes, truly frightening power, Tyson had that explosive power, Jackson's power was concussive which means knock you dead rather than out.

    I remember that fight between Herrol Graham and Julian Jackson. Graham was completely out boxing Jackson, out of nowhere Jackson sparks him out. Jackson had ridiculous power back in the day.

    Jackson had incredible power. He was one of those guys that could knock you out cold with one punch. A fight with Nigel Benn would have been the wildest one round fight ever.

    @@Moistureslife And only Mike McCallum and the G-Man could do it, the former with his devastating body shots which took the power from Julian, and the latter for being the 2nd hardest middleweight right behind Jackson himself - rocked him in the first round, as you say, looking for Julian early.

    @@haitianmaniac74 So did McClellan, and he has a higher KO ratio and more first round KO's than Jackson. Mcclellan didnt only put guys to sleep but he caused some of them to have seizures. He only lost to nigel benn in his prime and Benn ended up with a broken eye socket, broken jaw and broken cheekbone. Benn won but he was never the same after

    +Marco Cano idk. Every punch he landed on Ali seemed to send him staggering across the ring. No one else did that. Not Foreman, not Lyle, not Frazier, not Williams, not Liston not Marciano (when they sparred). Shavers was just a monster.

    I think Shavers hit harder P4P, but Ron Lyle's punching technique was actually better than Shaver's. That said, I still think that Joe Louis had the most devastating 1-punch shots (P4P) - and they were short straight overhanders, as opposed to wide (rotational infused) hooks.
