The children were born when he was in the embassy, they married whilst he is jailed and yes he is in solitary confinement 11 hours during the day with one hour of exercise.

What appeal? He is not guilty at all. He was doing his job. It seems that he has been kept as a political prisoner. We are trying to explain that this is wrong. no he's being punished for publishing 3 million top secret documents that don't expose any crimes, they just embarrass and weaken USA and the West generally, that isn't journalism it's espionage. The gunship footage was only 1 of 3 million files so 1 crime per 3 million documents is a really good ratio.
