Still one of my favorite auditions ever. I love this version.

2 years ago, and I still come back over and over to listen again. I don't even have the words to describe how exceptionally talented she is. The choices she made with her riffs & runs were flawless. She has one of those voices that is like a drug to the ear.

This audition NEVER EVER GETS OLD. I TOO CAN LISTEN TO THIS over and over. She should have released her version too. The arrangement and THE VOICE BAND behind her was EVERYTHING.

I wouldn’t go that far...sounds like a really good singer covering a song....but the original song itself is too unique and sounds like its own genre...she basically turned a unique song into an RnB song...she ran it a lil more with her voice over powering the song...but the original song it’s self is jus better...while different feel and vibe...Maggie can sing like Julia but She wasn’t trying to over do it

@@MrSPIDEY21 Disagree. Julia had to show her artistry, what she can do and how she can make a song her own for her audition; her doing that got her 3 chair turns, mixing like this while moving how she is is HARD for a vocalist. She is a really good ARTIST, not just a really good singer.

Exactly! The duet song was more for her opponent than her and he had a range as high as hers so she couldn’t really shine unless she was singing in her genre

I've watched this several hundred times...been singing it ever since i saw the audition... she's one of the three names i remember from The Voice

Probably one of the best voices ever in the world. No Cap. This cannot be taught. You just have to be born with it. I would put her at the same level as Dimas Khodiabergen of Kazakhstan. Ethereal voice cannot be copied nor duplicated.

Naw...this ain’t better than the original...she jus sang a lil more...the music from the original was unique, the way the beat switches, how Maggie was singing it was a total vibe...y’all jus focused on her hitting runs and singing instead of the entire song as a whole...this sounds like a really good singer that jus covered a song and turned it into an RnB song...the original was unique and sounds like something new...

Had to search my history just to find this song again. Glad I did!
