Shenanigans did something I haven't really seen with other BG games. It brought it more than just other BG game fans. Friends of mine who hate BG games love shenanigans.

I love the goofyness of it and the destroying aspect of it, especially the wall jumping.

8:00 they actually did. They moved a tree a pixel to the right. Also, the reason why yuji and Megumi have less hp is more technical. Yuji’s R cancels a move for bar to avoid counters, has 2 combo extenders with the third combing off of the last m1 or the 2 move and a counter. Yuji is made for sweats so he gets less hp cause they do so much damage. Megumi on the other hand, from the looks of it, is a fucking runner character. Big ass bird that you can get dragged on and is unblockable, rabbit escape forces a block, toad grabs you and forces you to block and has hyper, and seemingly a domain expansion that works only indoors but is indestructible and probably buffs you. People would be fine with it getting 70 tbh if they don’t need the running part

@@Mrtophat2 the issue is about having something that would make the players enjoy the game and make it easier to use the menu locked behind an outrageous 100 robux paywall. There is so many emotes in the game that someone shouldn’t have to spend minutes looking for an emote among the few hundred other ones. What kind of Krispy Kreme glaze are you on if you justify having to pay a whole emo avatar worth of robux on something like an in-game search bar. It’s not being lazy, it’s about seeing the most obvious cash grab and downright annoying fact; tsb makes enough robux just locking an admin moveset behind a paywall that you have to actively pay millions of robux to use let alone all the other gamepasses they make bank off of.

I personally really like the abilities in jujutsu shenanigans because of how raw and nice they feel ESPECIALLY hitting a black flash into a jumping 3 for yuji. Its not just only how good they feel but the freeness that you have when using them like the R button, or jumping variants.

The amount of player’s in jujutsu shenanigans is insane, surprising that it got so many players in the amount of time that it’d just been out!

I feel like both games complete the battlegrounds formula. Strongest and other bg games are more so sweat fests and are taken more in a competitive light, whereas shenanigans is more like the “items on” of smash bros, which has less depth competitively and skillfully, but still has an equal if not higher amount of depth due to all the new scenarios and environments

this game quite literally does nothing special with its combat other than add a "r" button for its specials this game is so deeply overrated for what it contains and calling it items on smash bros is such a stretch when at MOST you can just pick up some random object and throw it and that's as far is it goes for the "silly" things you can do while fighting.

I think the comedic style, chiller community, and mixed aspects of parkour, destruction, and combat, make it a better experience than TSB for me, mostly because I lack the skill to fight in a flat baseplate. but sometimes you can use your terrain to your advantage. Which I like..

jujutsu shenanigans is also fun because not only do we not have to wait months for a very detailed update with only one character move but instead get a bunch of character moves in one update because the game isnt focused on visuals and combat, but also because they have so many little tiny features that make the game fun, such as domain breaking, parkour as mentioned, or making your own hollow purple, and also the movesets being so unique, like where have you seen a megumi on a BG game that has toad, or gojos black flash or anything like that In short, jujutsu shenanigans is cool bc it has fast updates, a bunch of small but fun features and unique movesets

Also its fun how Yuji is parkour thing. Air variation of 1 and 2 skills can be used for long jumps and R can cancel attack so you dont break everything

theres also one thing that shenanigans also has which is pretty cool, the mechanics of course like for example if ur gojo and u have ur base moveset u can use ur red then R the special skill to make a teleportation behind the opponent ur aiming at or are with combat , and when u use blue and kick them into the air and use R on them when they are mid air it kicks them down, it also works when ur opponent is mid air so, theres also something with the ultimate with gojo maximum lapse blue finisher + max red into the blue ball u create a purple, what takes ur ult for balancing and it dose pretty good dmg i guess , theres also a pretty cool thing with yujis ult aka sukuna when u press 1 3 2 R quickly in a row in yujis ult u perform a world slash what dose pretty good dmg but it might get dodged or something.

something that makes jjs so much better to me is the way they go about developing it, especially with recent updates in both games. Saitama battlegrounds put a QoL change behind a paywall, put genuine effort into a character that was then made admin exclusive, and added a single new move in its last update which took a good 2 weeks to make in that same time jjs has added: free ps+ escaping teamer combos completed hakari wall bouncing 3 megumi moves (+an awakening animation) free building tools (with keybinds and free save slots) on top of several bug fixes, optimisations, and balancing patches

First of all JJS's (Jujutsu Shenanigans) is definitely more optimized and chill when compared to the toxic and sweaty game of TSBG but for my first defense for TSBG tho would be The Emote Search is more over a simple QoL that most people could do without 100 robux in itself is really cheap being a lil' bit over a dollar Hakari has been in the works before the game was made for public so of course they had more time to plan out things The main dev (freshfrenchfries) is the main scripter and others are more in animation and VFX though he still does animate, in the beginning we were getting 1 base move per 2 weeks which compared to the 3rd Move is a night and day difference Megumi's move's models are pretty mediocre not being a genuine model of the shinigami but has a retro style to it to fit the game which i doubt took over 2 hours for a pixelized model The main dev did promise a Seismic Fist rework and passive next update which is presumably coming along with the 4th move For KJ he was added as a "thank-you" but the chances of meeting the 2 exact people who has access to KJ is pretty low with the amount of CCU TSBG has, and KJ was made by a seperate Dev team who volunteered to make KJ for TSBG which means there was no halt to the development of the game at all.

I feel like jujutsu shenanigans is like a game if you want a funny goofy and sort of combat game.While TSBG is more if you like combat and the effects.

To respond to you at 6:08 , some charaxtere having less hp is nessesary for their playstyle to be balanced, and just straight up lowering their damage/ mobility would make them loose their uniqueness and everyone would have the same playstyle. Let's take yuji, the point of the charactere is to land good and damaging combo, while having good neutral, due to having combo extender, feint and a really good counter. If you didnt lower his hp, he would always win 1v1 against a player with his level, due to him having better true combo, while having more tools to get around his oponent block. And lowering his damage would make him loose his point, making it bland and unfun. If we take megumi, he has really good mobility, range and neutral. You want that when the opponent catch him, he get punished more heavily than other charactere, or it would be frustrating to fight against. If you nerfed any of his strength, he would have the same problem, and be bland. Hope this helped you to have a better understanding of what the devs intended to do!

the reason different characters have a different amount of health is there combo abilities, like megumi, and gojo having long range abilities being harder to combo off of, while hakari and yuji having more combo potential giving them less health to even it out. Idk if i explained that well but i hope that somewhat paints a picture of why there's a health difference

Megumi and Yuji have lower HP even if its opposite combo potential, so it dont have such sense. Yuji got lower HP because that's sweat character that can perform big combo and Megumi because it's runner+spammer (to let players kill such enemy faster). Gojo, Hakari and Mahito have normal amount of HP

Something you guys can try with your friends (if you have any) is make 1v1s on the railroad next to the station, its a great place to 1v1 and you can use walls to your advantage, and you can also play in private servers and give yourself commands like "no cooldown" and just play around with it with some people.

I love how you can see other people do cool techs and copy them for your own playstyle

Best battlegrounds game, strongest battlegrounds is straightforward each time u join jujustu shenigans it’s a fun and new experience it’s like it’s a fresh game each time you join

this is so much better than any bg game i do not know why it is it just has this feel to it thats just great

I personally like shenanigans more because I really like how the dev communicates a lot and actually tells us things and polls more. Meanwhile flowers literally makes fun of us and treats us like garbage and recently showed how unbelievably money hungry he is with the search bar gamepass.

I like the destructibility of the game because it makes me feel like im in a movie like the man of steel launching people through the buildings. I've seen people dressed up as all might slamming people all the way through one of the skyscrapers all the way to the bottom. In simple terms it makes you feel like a badass yet goofy

I found a fun way to combine yujis passive with the parkour mechanics, you can use his first and second move’s Ariel forms and just feint ability to gain distance and height, allowing for incredible freedom around the map. You can get to places no other characters can

Jujutsu shenanigans has a more open depth-like domain expansion then any other jujutsu shenanigans game because the domains are different, for example, for Gojo's domain expansion in jjs, you cant even move, which makes sense, in sorcerer battlegrounds, in a gojo domain the opponements are just weaker and slower. Also, the R speciality move supports the combat system and the destruction physics are just new to any BG game because in 2:48 - 3:14 it explains that any game with destruction physics unlike jjs would lag and crash any second along with the R speciality moves. That wraps it up for 3 facts of jjs that make it a good game.

the "health system" seems to be inspired by the system Capcom fighting games have of characters having different health bars in order to create what is commonly known by glass cannon characters (like Akuma from the SF series)

I think the reason people say that it’s better than the strongest battlegrounds is that it never gets old with the special abilities and combining them with your fighting moves It really helps make it feel fresh also with yuji itadori’s black flash I feel like it makes it exactly an actual black flash would be like because you’re getting really heated. I love how instead of comparing 2 games to each other you instead tell why each game is good and let the viewer decided for themselves

jujutsu shenanigans is the perfect example of "let's add some game mechanics that are totally not needed for a battlegrounds game to do well but do it anyway because it's fun and cool" and god do I love that. I love using the environment in a fight, parkour is satisfying and throwing stuff at your opponent is hilarious. love this game for being unique and actually doing things that are fun

ahhh just the holy grail doing some shenanigans

Im suprised no ones talked about this yet. I am in-fucking-love with the way moves on a character can interact with each other and the different variations. The way you can use gojo's R for extra damage when you kick them in the air with lapse blue, use your R and rversal red to do that sick upside-down thing he did in the anime or the world slash by pressing your moves in a specific order, yujis alternative furious attacks, flying toads, etc... Thats what really sells the game for me, it is the sole reason why i dont play any other battlegrounds game any more, because this game truly feels like it has a heart and the developers are actually creative. With TSB it just feels like an infinite-combo fest when you go up against a garou who just uses "techs" to lock you in an unescapeable 100 - 10 combo, because you missed 1 punch. Imo the combat is way more engaging and fun in JJS than any other battlegrounds game ive played so far.

My personal favorite detail is the early access, it’s not just a robux farm, you can constantly see characters getting updates and be moves

Even though i dont have friends to play, i still have a lot of fun. like chilling with the players, and stuff. For me its just really some jujutsu kaisen shenanigans

smth jjs did that i like is that the area where your fighting can be a helpful tool, like if theres trees u can knockthem back into it and they take less knockback and stuff like that

Holy grail! Please try out solo showdown! It has some enteraction (portals that teleport around the map) and really good quality fighting and attacks :D And it only released just now!

Another thing is like you can’t really sweat like in others, like you can but it’s not sweating super hard. Your movement is more restricted and that’s what I like about it.

tsbg : good and fun fighting jjs : actual shenanigans that are happening in the map that are surprisingly fun

I think they made the HP differences to correlate more towards the play style of each character. like how Yuki has high damage and consistent combos which makes him a glass cannon. while hakari and goji have more because they are more of an al around character, and megrim being more of a zoner and having a less aggressive and more opportunistic play style so its appropriate for him to get punished more when he does get hit.

Also when it comes to mechanics jjs takes the cake especially now sense they added the gojo black flash. In the manga when gojo was fighting sukuna, gojo missed his red at sukuna, so gojo decided to make red go around a whole building to meet up with sukuna and hit his back into gojo doing a black flash, WHICH YOU CAN DO NOW IN JJS

The last few times i played jjs, mahito avatar and sukuna avatar opened a restaurant, people were recreating shibuya, people were kidnapping people with hakaris moves, a gojo avatar recreated gojo vs toji round 2, overall, jjs is more fun for me cuz you can just goof around and laugh

Idk if u know this but for me the reason i like this game is because of it's unique variation for characters. For example yuji/sakuna u can do blackflash (kinda hard cuz u gotta do a timing and if ur getting frustrated there's a 60-75% chance of you doing it cuz ur too focused on ur opponent) also while on ult if u press 132r u will activate world slash the damage is so high that even ur opponent's health is full he's done even if he survives nah he's dead the damage is so high. In gojo if u use the ability lapse blue, aim upwards and press r same goes for the other abilities, while on ult if u use reversal red max and press r rapidly while it's not fired yet ur can do a blackflash also if the opponent is not hit u will get a recoil, if u managed to kill a player using the blue orb thing (i forgot the name) and shoot reversal red max at it, u activated a nuke CONGRATULATIONS Anyway i lost interest of tsb cuz the updates takes so long but I'll be back at it once tatsumaki is free (i don't have a early access i know) Anyway peace

bro i have so much fun on this game istg. Like its crazy the amount of absolutely hilarious stuff goes on. and the fanbase in general is chill. Great game. just dont let the TSB players find it..

the health difference between the jjs characters makes it have more element of risk like yuji/sukuna have hight dmg but lower health

Jjs is like if wanna have fun with mechanics and be simple minded and kinda relax. The best part out of the game is the fast update and how tze actually does have fun making them and doesnt see it like a cashgrab like all other bgs (excluding tsb) nowadays

@Easy-Lovers the emote search bar is the one that's was weird af but KJ fr tho they didn't have to allow anyone to have KJ but they allowing the rich people to have it

Shenanigans did something really special which is buildings and some secret moveset's that just like manga like world slash and hollow purple nuke and more

It’s very good still geting used to it snd pretty good prob and the rating is good kinda it’s really funny if the server has vc

Honestly the thing that I love doing in jujutsu shenanigans is having a 1v1v1v1 with random people on the big towers.

the hp thing, i noticed some characters were easier to defeat but they have huge combo extenders. so yeah it's a really perfect balance

Very well made video. In my opinion you can’t compare tsb and jjs. My reason for this is because jjs isn’t a bg game, or else it would be called jujutsu battlegrounds. It’s called jujutsu shenanigans because your not supposed to sweat, or make 1 shot combos, your meant to just mess around and have fun with your friends and the silly and lowkey aspects really add to that.

make another one month later now that its been a month, you should definitely try out the newest updates theyre sick

tbh honest jjs is a game where is not for graphics or smooth gameplay its about the chaotic and funny moments in it and in tsb its about if u want a smooth gameplay and sweet graphics (and maybe some chaotic moments) but overall both of them are great games just better in their own ways

I honestly like the 'goofiness' of jujutsu shenanigans, it's what the name of the game entails. You're getting up to some shenanigans utilizing the abilities of jjk characters, it can be fun just experiencing the chaos that entails in public servers when there's just a moshpit where everybody fights, a few people are emoting and then there's a guy playing on a piano in the background. That's why I prefer it to TSB, I just have more fun while playing JJS.

i actually couldnt aggre more because tsb feels smoother but jujutsu shenanigans fits with its environment with all the features

My friend and I tried to break the game in a ps by having no cool downs and spamming Megumi's Nue (bird) and Hakari Mode 3. We found out that each player has their own "brick" limit. Each player can spawn in a limited amount of rubble, after that if you continue to destroy stuff, it won't spawn in rubble anymore, effectively capping the rubble. I like how each player has their own limit instead of it being a server limit. It did get kinda laggy, the rubble fell in slow motion, moves took longer but it's cool to see the developer think of a way to stop the servers from crashing.

Shenanigans is so unique because its a straight up goofy version of battlegrounds but it still has some wonderful mechanics

I keep thinking of the fight between Teruki and Shimazaki where not only are they outside but they’re being thrown through buildings and shits and I just always found that to be so cool And then we get it again in JjK when they’re running through the subway or Mahoraga is throwing Sukuna through a plane

idk how but controller in jjs is pretty good so i have pretty fun playing it

6:47 I'm 99% sure all if not most of the JJS sound effects are pulled from Jujutsu Kaisen itself, especially the second season. I'm watching through Season 2 right now and in the Yuji vs Choso fight I noticed like two or three sounds that I recognise from the game, as well as one or two in the nanami vs that weird guy with a hand sword.

btw yes there is the better version of black flash there's a wind up and there's the actual punch and to do the better version of black flash u gotta use once at the end of the wind up

I found this video when it came out 5 seconds ago which in my opinion is insane

I feel like JJS resembles a bit more of Black Magic than TSB. (Elaboration on "more Black Magic than TSB": JJS took the same development format of Black Magic, content over graphics.) While it IS a Battlegrounds game, it does NOT try to capture the essence of a Battlegrounds game and it turned into a mix of multiple ideas. JJS is practically taking the original Black Magic format and adding it in the Battlegrounds style, it's graphically low quality but makes up for it with a bunch of functionality and mechanics. I do not doubt the addition of more and more parkour mechanics, parkour in this game was a vision very early on and I do not see that stopping. JJS uses the Battlegrounds formula and experiments with it, JJS feels different because it mixes a seemingly unrelated or unthought of idea and just makes it feel like it should be there. JJS definitely deserves a trophy for what it has done in the Battlegrounds community, and I usually think pretty low of the Battlegrounds space.ww

JJK shenanigans is fun mainly because the game isn't filled with sweats. It also has cool mechanics like wall jumping and world destruction.
