@@GatoFacha52That’s not really how that works- If the cutscene itself is the cooldown, then the second it’s done you can just do it again, over and over and over, even if it does no damage, you won’t ever take any damage and you’re invincible, and actual cooldown would be preventing you from using the emote for a certain amount of time after using it or alternatively disabling the counter effect

I likely know the reason as to why this emote is death countering people, but it won’t make sense to most people. If you can, please ask the developers about it cuz I’m too introvert to ask them myself. Whenever you use Death Counter, normally, the game gives your character an Accessory (like hats and stuff, but there’s nothing in it) simply named, “Counter”. This Accessory acts as, you guessed it, the Death Counter. When you use Prey’s Peril, the accessory you get is called, “Hunter Counter” or something like that. I genuinely forgot to be honest. Don’t think that you can trick the game by wearing an accessory named, “Counter” though. The game will automatically get all your Avatar’s accessories and rename them to “ACCESSORY: “..AccessoryNameHere so you can’t just have infinite counters. What I think is going on is that whenever you use the “Take my Money” emote, it’s giving your character SOMETHING, it can be literally anything, from the coins, to the money, even to the table. One of it must be named: “Counter” I haven’t done enough research myself to get a grasp on how the game works just yet, but I don’t believe that whenever they are checking for a counter, that they are specifically looking for an Accessory named “Counter”. I believe they’re just looking for anything named “Counter” inside your character and calling it a day. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s a serious oversight for the most part. I may be wrong and honestly, I hope I am because that’ll mean people COULD find a loophole into breaking the game with infinite counters or whatever. *I’m totally not gonna start trying to mess with the game now.* If that makes no sense to you, it never was intended to. Some might think, “Oh wait a second, how do you know all this? How do we know you’re not making all this stuff up? Why is it so specific?” To be perfectly honest with you, before Hyperion or Byfron was a thing, I used “hacks” (exploits) to get an understanding of how the game worked so I could make scripts for it. In my time before the new anti-cheat released, I was able to discover a lot of things which was how I know all this and made a better lock-on which basically made blocking perfect every single time, a perfect side dash (locked onto backs with perfect accuracy, even if you turned around, it would still be behind you), and I was even working on an ai to play TSB for me, but was unable to finish it before the anti-cheat kicked my behind out of there. I still have the scripts for the first two and even have the unfinished ai, but now, I’m just a person that knows slightly more than the average player. That’s all. If you still don’t believe anything I said, go ask the developers or something, idk. Fun Fact: Whenever you use an ability the game gives your character a tool for about a frame with the ability’s name, even if it’s on cooldown. The reason you don’t see this is because the developers disabled the Backpack’s CoreGui. In simpler terms, they made the backpack invisible to players.

I don't think u understand the situation clearly. Devs put these little things in the game while they're making updates/new releases they put in these little features to have fun. A good example of this is w riot games when they would release champions just because their splash art was finished, so they put in a paint drawing as a placeholder till the champ is ready.

the table isnt a table and is a counter, which also happens to be part of the name of all counters, for example, death counter, ion know much but i do know that since the counter is named counter i thinkit processes the same data as hunters peril or death counter when you interact with it

that’s not how it works… The devs had accidentally put the file for death counter, in the emote, it had nothing to do with the name as the emote is named something completely different.

It’s like a tauntkill from Team Fortress 2 like, take Spy for example were one of his taunts is like fencing with a knife but the first 3 swing in that taunt does damage and the fourth swing which is the last one instakills any opponent that gets struck by it… well except for Saxton Hale and event bosses.

I think the reason was that the owner accidentally make the emote fire a death counter function ( :FireClient/Server bla bla) so it act just like death counter

I'm pretty sure that if the devs don't realize in a day or so with this emote, EVERY little timmy will report the people who use it and they get banned, so I guess if you get the emote please don't use it if you have a little timmy in your server, I typed that to save your account.

what probably happened is, when the player uses the taunt, it plays an animation. when someone uses death counter, it plays an animation and activate the actual death counter script. the owner probably pasted the code for the death counter in the taunt, or there is an event that runs a script to stop the player from moving, and he accidentally put in the death counter event. i have very limited knowledge about scripting, so i could just be entirely wrong. scripts are very complicated, so its easy to link a script to a different script. i believe how a death counter works is, when activated, it runs a script that uses an animation. when hit, it would activate an event for another script that does the main death counter. and taunts are extremely easy, gui, click on taunt, runs a script that stop the player from moving, or when the player moves using A S W D or spacebar, it cancels the animation.

"300 ping is absolutely wild" every server i go, no matter even if its a server in my country, the minimum amount of ping is atleast 200-300 constantly. but when my wifi doesnt feel like mercy today, i get up to 1000 ping. (especially on a server in australia they go crazy with my ping with up to 3000 💀)
