10 secret about Jujutsu KAISEN that I guarantee you didn’t know.
Number 1, Megumi’s grandfather was the leader of the Zenin clan. In volume 17 of the manga we got this official diagram of the Zenin family tree and it revealed that the previous head of the family was Fushiguro’s grandad. What makes this even more interesting, is that it’s highly likely that grandpa possessed the ten shadows technique. There are two reasons why I’m sure about this; the first is that during this flashback, it was implied that around the time Megumi was born, his grandfather was already dead. We know this because the new head of the clan was Naobito, meaning that at this point in the timeline, no one in the Zenin family had the ten shadows. That’s why in chapter 113 Naobito was interested in Megumi’s potential, because as the direct descendent of the last ten shadows user, there was a realistic chance that he’d inherit the technique. The second reason grandpa had the ten shadows, is that when it comes to the big 3 clans, they always want the leader to be someone who has the family cursed technique. An example of this is how the Kamo clan wanted Noritoshi to be the next head, even though he’s an illegitimate child - and it’s also like how Naobito wanted Megumi to be the next leader of the Zenin, even though he’s had nothing to do with them his whole life. The Gojo clan is the same in that they choose their leader purely based on who was born with the six eyes or the limitless cursed technique, so bearing all this in mind, it’s likely that Naobito’s predecessor must’ve had the ten shadows, which is where Megumi gets it from.
Secrets number 2, Nanami was originally supposed to be a villain. In an interview in 2021, Gege revealed that his original plan was for Nanami to be a bad guy who worked for a shady company and then one day loses his mind and kills everyone. After that he was supposed to follow a group of evil sorcerers and face off against Yuji, but later down the line they’d become friends. This fact was amazing simply because it’s so easy to imagine it, like Nanami even said himself the corporate world is crap and jujutsu sorcerers are also crap, so as a villain, it’d make sense to see him literally attacking both groups.
Three, during the Shibuya arc, Luffy from one piece made a brief cameo. In chapter 83, there was a scene where Gojo was trying to figure out what the villains were up to and he flies over a crowd of people who were dressed for halloween. In that crowd is someone wearing a straw hat that seems to also have the exact same hair as Luffy, which makes you wonder, is it a really good cosplayer or does Gear 5 now just allow him travel between different series.
Four, in JJK volume 13, Gege explained the full story of Playful Cloud. Incase you don’t know, playful cloud is one of the strongest cursed tools in the series and it’s been passed around more than any other weapon. The first person to have it was Toji Fushiguro and he stored it inside this cursed spirit that he carried around with him. Following Toji’s death, Geto took control of the spirit by using his cursed technique and in the process Playful Cloud became his. In the JJK movie he whips it out during his fight against Yuta and after he loses, Gojo takes the weapon back. However, the Zenin clan argued that Playful cloud belonged to them since Toji was the original owner and so Gojo uses his influence to make sure Maki is allowed have it. In the Goodwill event Megumi then stores it inside his shadow, having no idea that it used to belong to his dad, and he and Maki use it in the fight against Hanami. Todo then has a go using it after them and then things come full circle when Toji’s ghost uses it for the last time. Five, Tengen is by far the oldest sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen but did you know that this is what she originally looked like. Although her cursed technique makes her immortal she still ages just like everyone else and so every 500 years she needs to reset by absorbing another person. In one chapter we saw there were at least 3 previous vessels, meaning that by default, Tengen has to be at least 1500 years old. Six, when Gege originally began writing the series, he never expected to continue the story beyond the events of volume 0...
Seven, back in the Shibuya arc, Kenjaku tricked everyone by secretly using his gravity manipulation technique...

Speaking of Playful cloud passing through hands... Maki saying it feels disgusting to wield is likely a JJK 0 reference because she lost against its then wielded it.
Nanami originally being meant to be a villain but then becoming a mentor is a rare case of Gege being nice to Itadori

@@acura2171 Could have been both: Gojo was influencing the prison realm, but not to that extent: Kenny noticed the cube's eyes were blue and weeping, and used quick thinking, acting like the cube was too heavy as well.
Great video as always! You should consider covering made in abyss, crazy lore and world building, one of the greatest anime in my opinion and a lot of theory’s and other mysteries to make a video on

You’re not crazy! Even in the manga Gojo mistakenly referred to Tengen as “he” at least once that I can remember. But it’s outright confirmed that Tengen’s gender was female, although in the present day they don’t really have a gender anymore

No Yuji is not a Curse spirit.. The other brothers are curse spirits while the eldest is half he even inherited the Kamo Bloodline technique. Yuji's Father is a Human While Yuji's Mother is a sorcerer but is just a vessel (dead body) that kenjaku uses. Its Kenjaku who gave birth to Yuji using Yuji's Mother's body. Which is why as a result his Physical Strength is abnormal, he did not inherited his mother curse technique. It was never mentioned but we can guess that Kenjaku did something to Yuji while he is still in her mother womb (again inside Kenjaku LOL). Which is why Yuji is the perfect version of Choso and the other curse spirit brothers w/ the other remaining that are still sealed are failures. Choso is superior due to having the Kamo Family main technique but Yuji is the perfect creation of Kenjaku since he can suppress Sukuna Yuji become a half human & half curse tool by accident when Sukuna left him. Yuji can survive a point blank cleave & dismantle because Sukuna curse energy is still flowing inside his body which grant him resistance to Sukuna's any type of attack since even if the techniques are different the curse energy source is only one and its Sukuna's curse energy. Yuji gained Soul swapping curse technique instead of her mother's gravity manipulation (which is an OP ability).. again its because of Sukuna since there's a two type of soul in his body before sukuna left. It is hinted since the fight with Mahito Yuji physical attack w/ or w/o curse energy do damage Mahito because of him having two soul in his body so its natural that he gets a soul related curse technique. Yuji also gained Curse Energy not because of Kenjaku but because he ate Sukuna's finger its also a Hint why he has resistance to Sukuna's curse techniques.

we don’t have evidence Yuji is a curse or even a death painting he’s currently unexplained but the paintings have three parents and yuji is just a weird altered child of two humans (one under influence of a CT) whereas death paintings have a curse as a parent bc the woman could bear children from curses. confusing, i know. i thought the same thing before too. he’s related to choso but only through Kenjaku

Yes, and they are related because Kenjaku used Yuji's mother's body, that's why he is not Kamo's son by blood hence Yuji doesn't have blood manipulation techniques as the other death paintings.

What I see is like ur comment said. The three other death painting are from that curse bearing lady and kamo. And we know the reason why they are curses is cuz kenjaku was inside kamo therefore the children became curses AND gained blood abilities from kamos body being used. Now kenjaku after witnessing the lady bearer abilities decided he could enter the mother instead of the father. So for yuji he entered the mother and had the child. Meaning he’s either half curse cuz kenjaku replicated the curse bearer mother abilities OR he’s not since yuji mother was a normal human. Either way there is definitely going to be something special about him since kenjaku was involved and he’s a curse.

@@gaaraxnaru except Kenjaku is a curse user, a human, not a curse. One literally has a curse for a parent, the other has only humans. There’s clearly a big difference. One of these things is not like the other. He may have literally been a womb with a curse of some time of jujitsu on it, but a cursed womb death painting is a specific thing, and Yuji is decidedly not that. There’s even evidence in the series delineating the two. Choso can heal himself and create more blood for his technique with cursed energy. Yuji needs RCT to heal. A fundamental difference between curses and jujutsu sorcerers. Sorry, but to say “he practically is” somewhat beyond even headcanon because there are actual multiple bodies of in series evidence refuting that.

for the kenjaku one, i kinda disagree. If kenjaku was the one who made the prison realm smash into the floor, there is no reason for its eyes to open and for it to cry as seen in the anime, as it should realistically be able to take a beating from the outside. kenjaku himself also seemed rather shocked at the prison realm falling down.
