I can’t believe I’ve been juggling on streets circuses and film for nearly thirty years and have never seen this! What joy to watch, reminded me of what it felt like to be young and hopeful. Smilesotheylikeyou

This is the finest historic juggling documentary "to date", 1984, and great historic footage of The Greats, including Robert Nelson.

The Okabe Family show was Japanese, they toured the World around the change of the Century. The print used here is from 1898... I like how this 1984 video gets into the history of juggling!

WC was pumping down at least a quart of liquor for at least 20 years when The Old Fashioned Way was released. Prior to 1915 he didn't even drink coffee or tea for fear it would harm his reflexes. Imagine how much better he must have been prior to his decent into alcoholism.

This documentary shows almost exclusively Caucasians having time to watch and train, how to juggle. As an European raised on American fiction movies, which tended to be much more politically correct, it's quite interesting eye opener about historic truth.
