Have to say this is one of my all time favorite songs from a loved film (couldn't actually watch Judy "dance" to it) but the singers did a fabulous job as always

I've included this video as part of a playlist called Eurovision at Strictly where I have linked taken the best performing country at that year's Eurovision Song Contest that I can link to the background of either a pro or contestant as the pros tend to come from various European countries. At the 2014 contest in Copenhagen that country was Hungry as Du Beke's detested (by him) father was of Hungarian descent. Ironically considering what Du Beke says about his father, the song called Running which came 5th is about a woman trying to escape an abusive relationship.

If any pro dancer knows how to pull off a Viennese Waltz to perfection, it's Anton the Phantom. His partner Judy Murray is like a pro hang glider. Never underestimate a pair of pro Viennese Waltzers.

Hadn't seen Judy dance the waltz. There was definite improvement here which is, after all, what Strictly dancers are supposed to demonstrate as the weeks progress. I like how Anton uses his facial expressions to encourage her throughout as well.

This dance fits more by her age :) ofcourse when you are her age you are not that good at Latin. However, she improved this week but look at the others... I think she has to leave this show because the others are much better. But she has a done a great job!

Er what now? Pamela Stephenson was a few years older when she did Strictly and she had no trouble with the latin dances. I think Judy's trouble is she tends to just walk through everything - hence in hold here, it worked, but out of hold you could really see her walking it rather than dancing it. Still improved though.

Also, for their last dance they tried super hard to make it interesting, unlike all the other couples who left the competition.

And I think the judges ought to dock them a mark every time they do an illegal lift. There's breaking the rules when it's the right thing to do, but these two are just doing the lifts to make their routines look more interesting. It's just not fair play. The other couples aren't doing that, they're doing the best they can with what they're given each week, and they're leaving the show.

Anton is simply chanmeling Derek Hough when he does that. He figures that if it worked five times for Derek, it'll work once for him!

will it's not fair that Judy and Tim are being marked the same system as the young ones, you can't judge Frankie and Judy based on the same system! so fair enough for them, let them have the left cause they're, the old couples, are being robbed by the marking system in general

That's not how the scoring works. The scores are relative to an individual couple's previous performances, not to anyone else's. So Judy was only being compared to herself, not to, say, Pixie.

I felt like the judges were scoring more than they probably would for the weaker dancers just because it was in Blackpool and they didn't want to completely ruin it for them/ upset them or the audience as it's one of the special shows. I reckon they'll go back to being stricter and more nit picky now that we passed the Blackpool point and Judy is FINALLY out (thank god).
