Vic Damone is the greatest singer of all time. I have been “in love” with him for over 70 years. He celebrated his 89th birthday on June 12, 2017. I hope he celebrates many, many more happy and healthy birthdays. I never tire of listening to him. Love ya, Vic.

Of all the duets on her shows she and Damone fit each other like a glove. Both had ranges that could sing Broadway songs better than most. Together they were great.

Barbra Streisand and Vic Damone brought out the best in Judy’s voice. It looks like she really enjoyed singing with Vic’s baritone and using her voice in ways she didn’t normally. Their harmonies were stunning.

Damone was one of the finest singers in Hollywood. Sinatra, Bennett and the others had great respect for his talent. As they should. Judy sang perfect harmonies throughout. They made a perfect match on this medley of Bernstein/Sondheim treasures. This music never gets old.

Wow...love Vic Damone, but JUDY's voice here soars with such excitement, scaling her range with assuredness and power. Something's Coming is amazing; and the unexpected arrangement of Somewhere/Tonight, with Damone and Judy singing a difficult counterpoint beautifully with Judy nailing the last set of high D's is spectacularly emotional. I can't recall the last time a popular singer has made me FEEL like Judy did and can.

Technically, Damone was excellent. Sinatra said that Damone had the best pipes in the business. The only problem is that he had no magic or spark; on screen or in person, he was boring, however talented. If we all chose the best "singers" (technically) as our favorites, we'd all be listening to opera. Instead, we choose singers whose voices reach us emotionally; to us, THEY'RE the BEST!

He wasn't charismatic as a stage performer, but he was a great singer. Listen to his jazzed up "Stella by Starlight" and lush "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" or live versions of "We Have all the Time in the World" and "For Once in My Life." Excellent.

Love the "West Side Story" score but never liked "Something's Coming" that much although I respect the Larry Kert original. No because of Ms. Garland I'm sold on the song. Maybe life was hard and the optimism appealed to her and it I believe it shows in her vocals.
