Rosalyn Wilder was Judy Garland's personal assistant during what turned out to be her final tour. Before Judy died of an overdose in 1969, Rosalyn was in charge of her UK tour and says managing her extreme anxiety and addictions was a complicated matter, but by showing her guidance and reassurance, she helped Judy reach the stage. In the new movie 'Judy' which charts those last few months, Rosalyn met with both Renée Zellweger and Jessie Buckley to discuss both Judy and herself, knowing that this movie was in safe hands.

All of the heartbreak and destruction Judy lived, was not one of her making. Her mother was feeding her pills before Louis B Mayer & he intensified the use. They used her as a workhorse, and for that she and her children paid the price.💔 Judy deserved a much better life.

Honestly, I think this is the first time I have watched a Lorraine clip and I am a bit bothered. I feel as if I am hearing more from Lorraine than her guest, of whom I would be extremely pleased to hear of her in-depth commentary on assisting such a legendary yet “fragile,” physically and more importantly emotionally fragile, client, the late Judy Garland. Let’s see, I’ve watched over two minutes of this short clip, maybe Lorraine will allow her to share without any interruptions henceforth, hopefully.

Lorraine is always like that which is why I hate her. She just talks and talks, cuts off her guests, talks over them. She's a terrible host. Always has been.

I've learned nothing about what it was like to be Judy Garland's P.A. Maybe because you can't hear from Rosalyn Wilder, the interviewer is insanely intrusive.

Shirley Temple was lucky that she had a good mother. I blame Judy's mother the most for allowing this to happen to her.

This woman is a liar! Lorna Smith was Judy's dresser and companion in England.

Ummm, Google it. Rosalyn Wilder was her assistant at this specific nightclub in England. Read the blog piece “Adventures in Judyland” by Corinna Tomrley. It explains that Rosalyn Wilder was simply omitted from Lorna Smith’s biographies, so readers weren’t aware that she existed. But the records prove that she did, and that she in fact assisted Judy.

Emptying pills with placebos. Contending with her mother's extremes. *Taking care of her siblings.* Making her own career. Doing everything one can in the horrible face of addiction. She was and is an excellent daughter.

Liza was married and making her own career, the kids were with Sid, and Judy’s addiction was totally out of control, and no one could help her ….her children loved her and she loved them

It was still her mother and she was living in a run down shack apartment. She should of had her mother committed to a rehab center. All her money and she did nothing!

@@eileenduffy2842you “should of” paid attention in grade school. It’s “should’ve,” a contraction of “should have.”

@@eileenduffy2842nobody can help somebody get sober unless that person absolutely wants to get sober. Thank goodness I have 26 years clean and when I was in rehab I can't tell you how many women had four six or eight rehabs and still were not able to get clean. As well as Judy Garland obviously was a very strong-willed woman and unless she was ready there was nothing anyone could have done
