Muneta really came out of the gate strong. Giving a legend like Kosei Inoue a hard time is no small feat

Me chama mais atenção é a agilidade a postura e a base do Muneta.... Para mim um dos melhores pesados da história do judô compensa a sua baixa estatura com sua técnica de gigante e inteligência também.
Totally awesome display of Judo wish Muneta could have made it to the Olympics just awesome skills for his size.
I love Muneta's style - pure aggression coupled with slick technique.

no. he won worlds twice and got silver once, but he never made it to the olympics. its a shame. so much talent not to be called an olympian.

Amazing light effects at the beginning :) Looks like a K-1 Fight. This is a good combination of traditional martial art and modern show effects!

Inoue attacked more. Muneta was more defensive towards the end.

I remember Roy Jones Jr. out boxed his opponent in every round at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul South Korea & still lost to South Korea's Park Si Hun for the Gold 🏅. It's the same thing with this fight, I thought Muneta won this Judo Match. Maybe he lost because of the pause (hurt knee) or the judges just wanted the other Judo Fighter to win. Just my opinion.

世代的に鈴木より棟田なんだよなぁ。将来的には断然鈴木なのは承知なんだけど。 井上が強くなれたのもこの鈴木棟田がすぐ後ろから追って来てたから強くなれたんだと思う。
このあたりまでが棟田の全盛期。

今の鈍重な重量級選手と全然違うな。
この判定、どうかな？ 明らかに棟田が優勢だった。もしこの判定が(私が判定した通り)棟田に上がっていれば日本柔道界も更に面白い展開になっていたはず。判定無しで継続して闘わせるべきだった。

Because it's judo! The main goal is to throw the opponent with his back to the ground!

@ Salo Kin I do not think it rubbish! I know that Judo has a very strong base on the newaza, but the main objective of randori is to actually bring your opponent to the ground with nague waza!

@@guilhermerocha5315 this does not explain nothing. It's not because the main goal of judo is throwing that you need to stop the ground work and lose opportunities. The answer is because they are both heavyweight fighter. Besides of the low ground mobility, they need to expend high levels of energy to turns someone almost unturnable, because it's as much heavy as anyone who fights this weight category.
I thought Muneta won too.

More and better attacks. The decision was by hantei(ref and 2 corner judges voting with their flags), since they were tied in score. Muneta was also more defensive towards the end.

@@luhuang5256 I don't think muneta was defensive rather Inoue didn't give him much chances to attack. He dominated the whole match by attacking really fast and as soon as the round starts.
