Hello! . I'm a working class individual from Hungary. First of all, I'm really glad, that you guys take care of our situation. I have to say thank you for your attention, and warm humanitarian care! You see the country situation very clear, and may not be able to imagine, that how many of our individual own people is acting just as wrong as the politicians that you exposed here. As a Hungarian citizen, it's kinda bad feeling to see that it is how we appear in world press. However, no word was fake in this show about the subject, and living in this hell is a way more difficult, and unpleasant than it was exposed here. Why I comment here, is that I feel it my personal responsibility to say, that even if the majority of people in Hungary is wrong, and brainwashed, there are just as many, who aren't! Please always make difference between FIDESZ and Viktor Orban, and their people, and all the others! Please, don't identify all Hungarian as them, even when he talks in the name of Hungarian people! Thank you for your attention!

As a Hungarian I totally approve this video's message. Judith Sargentini has a lovely green shirt indeed and a much better taste in clothing than Orban. Unfortunately, what she says about our country is the sad truth. 😉 Thank you, and keep up the amazing work.

I was needing a source for my essay about the growing divergence among EU member states since 2004. This has helped a lot, thanks Arjen!

Dear Soma, the problem is that the EU or any dutch tv show won't change the Hungarian political system. And it shouldn't. I think these questions are Hungarian internal issues. The Hungarian political parties are weak, and it is not because of Orbán, it is because they don't think anything about Hungary.

I don't know if you live in Hungary or not, but the media has full freedom of speech. I don't support Sargentini mainly because her view of democracy is not what it should mean. I love the way you guys portray yourself as the virtuous side, but that's just not the case. I haven't explained my point of view, but I'll gladly debate you if that sound good.

Loving the hungarian subtitles. And yes, summarized perfectly. The only part that would have been funny to mention, is the country's gas-man, Lőrinc Mészáros. Friend (well let's be honest: strawman) of Orbán's, who used to own a small gas-repairing company - until relatively recently, when he became the mayor of Felcsút (the Betlehem of Orbán) and his businesses started to soar. When asked about how come his company's profits multiplied by twentyfold in ten years, while Mark Zuckerberg only managed to multiply that sixfold during that time, he replied : I am smarter than Zuckerberg. His current wealth is estimated to be almost 100 million EUR. Mostly from Hungarian taxpayer's money, and EU support funds.

Aki a Sargentini-féle jelentésen nem háborodik fel, az menthetetlenül ostoba. A magyar, azért mert a magyarokat sérti (hülyének titulál bennünket, akik nem tudjuk mi a demokrácia), a külföldi meg azért, mert az egésznek köze nincs demokráciához. A megfelelő többség meg sem szavazta. Egy nemzetet megbélyegezni, elítélni kívülről, minden csak nem demokratikus.

Szaki Borsodi! Konkrét adat Mészáros Lőrincről: 2014 - 7,7 milliárd vagyon, 2017 - 120 milliárdos vagyon! Már a 7,7 milliárdot is sokallom, ugyanis én TV műszerész voltam majd 50 évig és elmondhatom, hogy jólmenő, mert 1981-től lettem maszek (előtte egy szerviz kijáró műszerésze voltam) és a nyugdíjba vonulásomig, 2011-ig egy vidéki városban szinte egyeduralkodó voltam és nem tudok felmutatni nem 7,7 milliárdot, de 7,7 milliót sem! Igaz, ma sem kell szégyellnem magam, emelt fejjel járhatok a városban, mindenki tisztel azok közül akik még élnek (sajnos lassan elfogyunk). Vagy én csináltam valamit rosszul, vagy ez a lőrinc csinált valamit jól?!

As a hungarian I have to say this show is 100% accurate!Like it! Also I understand what that Orbán dont, the Sargentini report is against the Fidesz and not against Hungary. One thing what the EU should investigate too, the last election in Hungary. If you talk to an average hungarian 7/10 actually hates Orban and his regime and they still won with 2/3 ... Another interesting thing the day on the election the police closed the building of the National Vote Counting Office. Few hours later they sayed something went wrong with the IT system,but they working on it. Because of this I am not sure that the result of the election is trully the vocie of the hungarian people and not a result of a cheat.

Dus, ik laat politiek maar niet tussen mij en mijn Hongaarse vrienden en familie komen. Maar, alles wat in de video gezegd wordt klopt en dat vind ik toch echt zorgelijk...

As a Hungarian I thank you for this video, it summarizes what's going on quite well. (BTW, it's all just the tip of the iceberg). I find it hilarious, even though from the inside it feels more like a tragedy rather than a comedy. Hungary has 0 chance of democratically getting rid of this maffia, they can do whatever they want. Literally. They've already nationalized private pension funds. This week they passed a law in 23 hours (!) to phase out house savings funds because they were competitors to one of Orbán's friend's business (Home lottery, that nobody wanted to play). Our only hope is people like Sargentini who care to stand up for the wellbeing of others. Bottom line: please don't associate Hungarians with this guy. The majority wants them gone, we just can't do anything about it anymore. Ignore the paid trolls too.

+Robbert That's a blessing. I bet the majority of the Dutch people, although a much smaller majority than in Poland or Hungary, understands the dangers of it. It's just that most people don't get the chance to get their voice heard and do something about or anti-Dutch government thaf tries to ruin our country and make us a minority in our own country. Köszönjük, hogy volt ez a műsor. De sajnos így is sokan vannak, akik inkább köpnek egyet és utálkoznak tovább. Nem lehet a fanatikus orbán rajongókat jobb belátásra bírni. Viszont ez a műsor nagyon jól elmondta a lényeget ami Magyarországon zajlik. Bedankt voor het hebben van deze show. Maar helaas zijn er velen die de neiging hebben om te spugen en te haten. Het is niet mogelijk dat de fanatieke Orban-fans zich beter voelen. Deze show was echter erg goed in wat er in Hongarije gebeurt.

Az enyém legalább egyszerű de nagyszerű :P Na Látom te ezt nagyon látod :) De azt nem vetted észre (feltehetőleg direkt ) hogy a Fidesz is ugyanezt csinálja. A Belgrád-Budapest vasútat duplán fizettük a kínaiaknak . 1 szer mert kínai hitelből 2 szer mert kínai munkások is csinálják :) és miért kölcsünk el többet az adó fizetők pénzéből ha másra is lehetne ? És miért szarnánk le a milliárdokat mikor másra is költhetnék ? Pl az egészségügyre és az oktatásra . És ha annyit költenénk mégis szakmunkásokra és minimálbérre miért megy el annyi fiatal külföldre , miért csökken (elsősorban a kivándorlás miatt ) a fiatalok létszáma ? Miért van kevés szakmunkás ,szakács ,pincér ,informatikus ,orvos ,burkoló ,vízszerelő, tanár, hentes, cukrász ? És az üres Stadionok maximum visszahozzák a fenntartásuk árát ( karbantartás , stb. ) kötve hiszem hogy pont fizetésemelésre jutna belőle. Főleg hogy milyen a magyar foci . Olyan mint a magyar gazdaság : fényévekkel van lemaradva a Nyugat európai országoktól (nem is kell menni itt van Ausztria ) pl : kikaptunk a hegyvidéki Andorra vagy a sztyeppi Kazahsztán ellen. Nem beszélve arról hogy a(z elvileg) MAGYAR ÚjpestFradi meccsen a játékosok fele nem is magyar ! (mert ilyen jók vagyunk) . De hát kár erőltetni magam, hisz a Fideszesek olyanok mint a . Aztán: szvsz mindenki gondolkodás nélkül fel tudja sorolni OV családtagjainak, haverjainak, egykori iskolatársainak nevét, akikből mit ad Isten, mind kirívóan sikeres üzletember lett. Nem tudják megcáfolni, mert az igazságot nem lehet :) Érdekes, soha nem úgy védekeznek, hogy amit (pl. Sargentini) mondanak az nem igaz mert...., hanem elkezdenek oda nem illő dolgokkal hárítani (zöld pulcsi, puszi) és hazudozni (nincs diplomája).
