Now the carnival really is over! I have just seen and heard on the news tonight that Judith has passed away today aged 79. Quite a shock to know now that this beautiful woman with her wonderful voice won’t be with us anymore. Rest in peace, Judith, and thank you for all you have done for us in your life. May all our prayers and thoughts be with her family, and also, too, with Keith, Bruce and Athol, the three remaining Seekers, who are, no doubt, feeling the loss of their longtime friend and partner during this time. God bless you, Judith.

Never find another you was me and my husband's song, then when he died abruptly and unexpectedly, my heart was so broken. That song took a different meaning then. I listened to it over and over during my grief. It helped me get my tears and sadness out. It was almost too much to bear listening to it, but I needed it. Went through a major depression episode for a couple years, the song was so special to me in getting well. Judith is a treasure.

Sounds like you two built a world of your own that no one else can share. Now the carnival really is over. If they gave me a fortune my pleasure would be small next to the joy of hearing Judith's voice for almost 60 years.

This is so poignant. Who would have thought that Judith and Olivia would both pass away, just days apart, 25 years later. Both have played a part in the soundtrack to my life and are much missed. RIP Judith and Olivia

I remember the last concert, when the Seekers split up. I was only a child but recall how upset my patents were. They felt it was very sad. What an amazing lady Judith was. The world is a better place for her having lived here on it. And we are better for the beautiful music she made. Love and blessings to all her family and friends, who are missing her at this time. ♥️

Wow! 3.45am here in Aus. I grew up with the seekers. My mum was a big fan, and as a small child I remember dreaming of having long, flowing tresses like Judith (draped over 1 shoulder). Mum died back in 1996, and when deciding on songs for her funeral, The Carnival is Over was an obvious choice; but the consensus was there wouldn't be a dry eye there. Judith, we love you 🌈❤️

Judith the Carnival may indeed be over as far you being alive, but your God given beautiful voice will always be remembered by everyone who ever heard you sing. Truly the best female singer to come out of Australia. No one else's voice could ever compare with yours. Began listening to you in the 60's as a young child, along with the others who made up the Seekers.. Vale Judith. Thanks for the memories
